$15,000 is a lot of money but $6.78 would be more trouble to distribute then it's worth. If they did this at the same time as a revalue they could make sure even the poorest people got a little piece of the action. The chance to make the good money will be when it revalues & this would help out the ones with no money, it's a one time shot so why not give it to them.

Good question,
There is technically no reason one would need to go to middle east to cash out, so not to worry, as you may have already heard, Chase is exchanging in U.S. already, so save the air fare and risk and find your nearest Chase branch. More will follow, but having Chase already exchanging is a good sign for all of us. It is safer to go to U.S. than middle east.
Good luck to all, Mike

This just opens the door to so many jokes that I'm finding hard to resist the urge... But I will do so, because they would be a bit "wrong". So having said that, why don't we just move on to the next topic, because if anyone else posts anything regarding this, I'm afraid I might be at risk of being banned because, man, this is just too funny. You all don't know me, but I crack jokes at everything. And this is just way too tempting.
Next Topic, Please, and thank you.Four years ago... no, it was yesterday. Today I... No, that wasn't me. Sometimes I... No, I don't.

Rice pays surprise visit to Iraq
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice flew into Baghdad on Thursday for a previously unannounced visit, Iraqi officials said.
Rice has been on a tour of the Middle East, having already visited Israel, the Palestinian Territories, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. She was likely to hold meetings with Iraqi government officials, including Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.
U.S. officials have been putting pressure on Maliki's Shi'ite-led government to reign in militias blamed for much of the sectarian violence ravaging the country.
Washington has made the training of Iraqi security forces the focus of hopes to start withdrawing 140,000 U.S. troops.
Iraq has taken center stage in mid-term U.S. elections due next month in which U.S. President George W. Bush's Republicans are battling to keep control of both houses of Congress. The unpopular war in Iraq has sapped Bush's popularity and voters are looking for a viable exit strategy.
