Must feel they can afford the hit missing that deadline... would think they would have to make some pretty good deals to compensate... but if they take too long they just might sabatage themselves...

Day in and Day Out I hear news and wave links on Iraq. Finally today while they were Interviewing a resent retired US General, as Rice was making her vist. He stated that iraq will not be won be Military assignment.

The general went on to say, his opinion of what will win the iraqi people over, is the government. What did he mean? well he went on to say that if the government will provide the security, and most important a economic reform that benifits the population "NOW"!!, the common citizen as well as each race of the country will come together sofast that in a short time with all the resourses that Iraq is sitting on, most Internationals would never think that there was problems in Iraq before.

Basically what I got out of this was, for the government to get off their "ASS" and move Iraq "NOW".

hmmmm wonder if $10K per/person would jump start that... regardless...even if it wasn't rv'd .. a extra weeks income would be appreciated.. but would be verry generous of them to rv it first!! :)ez

This statement kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it. What kind of reason does the goverment have to holding off on rising the value of the dinar? They are dragging their feet on security. Why? If they wanted to get a handle on the death squads all they have to do is put in a curfew and get that reval going.

Did anyone ever wonder why the IQD, when turned over has its value written in English?

The USD only has English writting, when you turn it over it does have Chinese or Spanish on it. What about the Euro or other world currencies. Dont know personally AS I have not seen or remember if other World currencies have langueges other than the countries of their origin.


Any thoughts on this VERY INTERESTING FACT!

but if everyone is stuck at home who will be out spending dinar to stimulate the economy??

like i tell others, the usa took 14 years to get their shiite together to establish this country and we are expecting iraq to do it in just over 3.
there are alot of little legal things and paperwork and all that crap to take care of. im sure they are in doubletime.
