    nej,

There is software you can subscribe to to find arbs for you. Course you can always do it yourself by going to certain sites and comparing the back odds for bookies like William Hill, Corals etc and seeing whether the odds on Betfair for laying that particular horse are lower. If they are, you're in business. ;0)

Trouble I find with arbs is you have to have funded accounts with at least 25 bookies around the UK and Europe, and maybe the US with at least 300 Euros in each of them. Plus most bookies now you have to send them id etc, more hassle. And a lot of them don't take credit cards so you need moneybooker or neteller accounts.

There's money to be made but be prepared to set it all up first.

Mods, can you start this up on another thread please as it's nothing to do with the dinar, lol.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

    Dear Adster,
what do you think the religious violence will effect the economic situation in Iraq? It's looking hotter and hotter. Do you think anyone is actively trying to quell this thing?

    Hiya kristin,

Unfortunately the sort of world we live in we only hear the bad things going on. Sells papers right?

Is a Civil War a possibility? Yes it is, but a small one IMO. Once the new government are in place they'll be able to quash the insurgencies. They also need to give something back to the people asap as with price rises it's getting harder and harder for people to live day to day.

There have always been in fighting in Iraq going back hundreds of years, nothing has changed really. A full blown Civil one wouldn't be good for our dinar though, but I don't think it'll come to that.

The western media is one of the biggest weapons out there, sad to say. They only show the bad stuff.

um, that last post by offshore wealth sounded bullish. was there some news i missed?

could someone shed a little light on what sports arbitrage is? is that when you bet on a bunch within a specific group? something like that. like diversified betting.

i've been harping about an investment club for ages. tho i did find a program called vector vest. it's a high tech stock picker - in which you subscribe.
it's very comprehensive. i already made trade using it....
there's somewhat of a learning curve tho (quite the curve depending what you want). it's just under $30 a month (with a 5 week trial for 10).

let me know. what this needs is an astute tech head.

    nej,

The strongest one is 12 March at a reval of .04 to the dollar. I could live with that!!! It could only go up from there.

I take them with a pinch of salt.

That's the one I meant, the $0.04 one. I think at that price (if it happens) I'd be tempted to hang on rather than sell. My wife might think "new car", though!
