ive highlighted the article in the points i feel are pertinent. http://www.rolclub.com/116982-post298.html it IS saying they are going to revalue the dinar and it IS saying they need to keep in mind not to throw themselves into a bind when they pick a value. it also is saying they need to take into consideration salaries, prices, etc. when setting the new value.

he uses the matches as an example of the difference price value to show the readers how some thing can have a different price based on value. this sounds a lot like Shabibi speeches to me in which he gives the general formula for the dinar's increase and what needs to take place. he mentions that the repayments of the balances owed (we presume the amount accounted for by the IMF) will affect the dinar's re valuation, combined with the monetary balancing of money in circulation etc will affect the dinar's rate.

he blames the high inflation on the things that Saddam did, like note printing etc for the problems. He mentions the fact of Salaries being need adjustment which is interesting coz we have recently seen that happen. in this part: "permeability ratios balanced sound economic relations between various sectors of the Iraqi economy" he is refering to the balance required by the IMF. he is merely SUGGESTING that the cbi make this move asap.

yesterday an article about the FIL being passed THIS WEEK and now today an article about revaluing the dinar. does someone see that this will cause speculation among the big boys? i think we are at the end!!

And this puts us right back to where we were in the Spring of this year . . .talking .68. Again more rehashing old news. They bring it back up for the additional WOW factor when they go better than parity with the USD.

"WOW . . .everyone thought .68 and we went more than double that, we are the bestest country in the whole wide world" followed by "NAH NAH NA NA NAH NAH" sticking tongue out to Saudi Arabi

I can see it all now . . .one big curve ball right before the home run pitch

It's odd that the Iraqis seem so cranky, with such a hilarious language. The translations are better than tv. This is all making me seasick with the ups and downs! Any final summations for the day? Addie?

.68 is more than equal to the dollar, it means that the dollar is worth 68/100ths of a Dinar!

I am with you SGS they are no way going to do a lop the only lop will be off the exchange making us all very happy.

IMF have put 3 years into making it a stable currency. US and many Country's are backing them this would be suicide for them. No big investors would touch them if they loped.

    IT WILL NOT HAPPEN!!!!!

I think we are close to a RV.
