    This is correct. I was there (Desert Storm) and everyone got excited when we heard Kuwait was going to give ALL service members who participated $25,000! But we were told that we weren't allowed to accept gifts of this kind because it was against our oath when we joined.

    I never saw a gold medal though. First time I've heard of this.

    Although the dinar has to be internationally traded to help, the crazies over at the other place are saying that article VIII and ACH has to be inacted before the dinar is put on international trading. I thought the FIL was the last hurdle, so what are the thoughts of the Adsters, OSW's, Suzie's of this forum?

    i think its a case of put up or shut up. remember they promised them in 3 days they would make things better and that time came and went? that wasnt the only time it happened either. they were not trusting them again. just wait til they hear the new value and are handed those cheques. there WILL be dancin in the streets!!!

    im not a naysayer but i am curious as to why eveyone thinks the reval will be over 1.00 besides the fact that we think investors will buy up the country,with the fil passed im tempted to buy a couple mill today for next day delivery .

    Check section 37 ach has to be in place on or before Nov. 30, 2006

    I was there also, but we heard it was $100,000. but we could not do it because it would make us look like mercenaries or something. I have one of the medals from Kuwait, I think they said it was worth something like $300+
