Welcome to the forum Prettyctk,

There are many places one can check to purchase dinar, but you have to be careful as there are major shortages and order delays which can be dangerous if revalue hits while your order is in pending mode. If you read the fine print you will learn that they have the option to refund you instead of deliver your dinar, so read sites carefully.

Also, there were some banks selling dinar in US, and CAN, so let us know where you live and we may be able to help better. It would also help to know how much you are looking for. If you have specific questions, pm me and I would be happy to assist you in making the best decision for your own investment strategy.

Hiya,

I sent you the details of who I order from. You want to be buying new dinars, that have been in circulation around 2.5 years now. What denominations is up to you. I've heard whispers of the 25k notes being slowly taken out of circulation. But if and when they do you'll be able to echange them for smaller denoms. My faves are the 5k notes, love em for some reason, plus there are more of them, LOL.

I feel we're within 4 months of a reval. The ISX is due to be opened this summer and they need to attract foreign investors. With the government starting to be put into place too plus the insurgent attacks dropping daily, debt relief being forgiven by a lot of countries and a lot of companies starting to list the dinar on their forex charts it's all good positive stuff.

This IMO will pay off before pips, plex or any other investment. A reval before end of July tops. Preferably before 10th of July, my birthday!

Then what happens to the 25k notes that like you or I have? Do they not 'count' anymore?

I don't have many of them ( I also like the smaller denoms...looks like I have more! LOL!) but the one's that I have, I'd like to be able to 'turn-in'!

Perhaps they would be the 'first to go' from my collection?

Hmmmm.....I never thought about who would be the first to leave me....aww, getting all sentimental!

Just like older bigger notes, they get phased out in time. It may happen with the 25k note but you'll be able to get more of the 5k notes, lol.

Sure your sentiments will desert you when they're worth .31 to the dollar!!!

Funny thing is the notes get smaller in size the lower you get. The 1000 notes look like monopoly money. Let's just hope they don't end up like that, lol.

My birthday is 8 of July. So i hope you are right on this on Adster, id love to see a reveal on my birthday, a day to remember.:)

I saw back on page 8 or so of this forum...the exchange rate for the dinar. 5,000 dinar = 3.50 US dollars currently. Adster..i see you say the dinar will be worth .31 to the us dollar, how do you know this??? thanks for the info you pm'd me..

For us (I'm from Sweden) that is so logical! Our money is like that, too; smaller denomination= smaller notes. And they all look different; different colours etc. So when I am in the US I always have to LOOK very carefully at the money to be sure I pay with a ten instead of a hundred (or whatever)

What I don't understand is how they could postpone the meeting...didn't they HAVE to meet on the 12th according to law? Or could they postpone it because all parties agreed?

(31 cents would be nice...but for some weird reason I keep dreaming of 65 cents!)

I personally like the smaller denoms...The largest I have right now are the $1k notes and they're about the same size as US currency. I love the UV watermarks! I've checked them all with the "blacklight" and they all are so cool! I hope your dream is correct; .65 would be flat out awesome!

Like everything we have been going on, it is pure speculation, but educated speculation with a little logic thrown in for good measure. (g) Seriously, it is all about where dinar was and where it will be again, and that was $3.40 at one time, so using logical analysis, it should rise to that level again, just as it did with the Kuwait dinar 15 years ago. As to the start point, referenced as the reval or peg, this is more difficult to determine, but best guestimates are from .30 to .90, so we are all just going to have to wait and see.
