    Question

This was staring me in the face on my homepage this afternoon.....

CharmedPiper posted it in RED....and Adster dropped a "FACK'S SAKE" on it....but no more discussion. NOW. This could be either a "Uh-OH" thing or a "WoooHooo" thing...perhaps waiting until everything is situated with the currency's new worth to have the reconciliation meeting...or, I dunno....I just thought that it was pretty significant news to not have had any 'thoughts' about it....

    Iraq Delays Reconciliation Conference
    Sunday, October 15, 2006 12:10 PM EDT
    The Associated Press
    BY QAIS AL-BASHIR

    Listen to Audio
BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) — The Iraqi government on Sunday postponed indefinitely a much-anticipated national reconciliation conference aimed at shoring up the country's political system, citing "emergency reasons."

The statement issued by the Cabinet reflected the deteriorating security situation in the country, in which hundreds are dying each week in sectarian- and insurgent-inspired violence.

Failure to bring the deeply divided Iraqi politicians together as planned also appeared likely to exacerbate the crumbling effort of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to build a broader political consensus.

The Ministry of State for National Dialogue issued the one-paragraph announcement on the first anniversary of a national referendum which approved the country's first post-Saddam Hussein constitution.

"For emergency reasons out of the control of the ministry, we announce the postponement until further notice of the Iraqi political powers conference that was planned for next Saturday, Oct. 21."

The postponement could deeply damage the al-Maliki administration, which has been in power just over four months. In that time, more than 10,000 Iraqis have been killed in insurgent and sectarian killings.

Al-Maliki did not comment on the postponement, but issued a message to the Iraqi people Sunday praising them for approving the constitution 12 months ago, while acknowledging the document's adoption had intensified the insurgency.

"It is your vote on the constitution that forced the terrorists...to commit horrific massacres against innocent civilians and violate the sanctity of holy places, destroy infrastructure, obstruct reconstruction and services," the prime minister said.

Acknowledging the growing sectarian nature of the conflict, al-Maliki said:
"The state and militias cannot coexist and arms can only be in the hands of the government. No one has the right to be above the law. Militias cannot be a substitute for the government and its security agencies."

Al-Maliki, a member of the Shiite majority which controls parliament, did not address his government's failure to disband Shiite religious-based militias that are blamed for many of the killings this year after insurgent bombers attacked one of the most important Shiite shrines in February, destroying the Golden Dome.

And this is a much easier wait than it was waiting for them to get it passed. That was a 3 year wait.

    Post Inflation & Death!

I think that Iraq is on their top.

This cannot hold any much longer. Reading these extremely sad stories from the women with her children makes me sad. And she is not the only one!

They have the highest inflation ever and the most death people ever. I think this can be linked together.

A reval gives them a live, money to eat, to study, work etc. People don't have to throw bombs again or blow themself up to save their family for a few bucks.

Personally I think when the revalue comes now and the Iraqi people can enjoy the $10,000 the violence will go down also!

So I hope a Reval will occur for these people and before the end of ramadan.

Thumbs up Vast move Against Terrorism!

    Vast move against terrorism
    13:00:00 GMT 2006 Sunday, October 15
    Elie Hajj
Translated version of http://www.elaph.com/ (Article on the far right side, three quarters of the way down on the right side of the site, very small, you have to hunt for it!)

79%% report pursuant to the police if they encounter suspicious
A large majority of the Arabs to move against terrorism.

Elie Hajj from Beirut : A large majority emerged against terrorism and its perpetrators in the referendum conducted by the weekly "Ilaf", which asked : what to do if the person in front of you planning to carry out a terrorist answer was told in 8281 of the 10424 participants at a rate of 79%, they notify the police, while he answered 459, a rate of 4%, they ignore it, and he answered 978, a rate of 9% that they rushing to escape, He admitted 706 people, a rate of 7% that they do not care. Give an analytical look to these results, the idea of the extent of the public's commitment to the Arab position against the opponent of terrorism and its perpetrators, organizers, not a theory intellectually, but in practical terms the move and take the initiative and call the police to suppress the terrorist attempt and miscarriage. Here it is appropriate to take into account the instinctive tendency to humans, the tests confirm psychology, to escape the face of danger or what imagines that risk, For escaped multiple forms one is ignored which certainly could not be considered a supporter of terrorism and acts of terrorists, Likewise, a lack of interest, which may be a demonstration of lack of concern in order to avoid all the problems that may cause pains capital, or it may be expressing a lack of interest in public affairs and others in the absolute.

This shows that even the rate of 4 per cent (Almetjahlin) and 9% (fugitives) and 7% (non-rich) is ratios can be enumerated in the category of the negative attitude of terrorism. In reflect the same proportion of 79% of those who reach the police encountered when preparing for a terrorist, a high degree of awareness and attitude, which denies the accusations directed to the Arab public that he was not hostile to terrorism or disregard it and the perpetrators. This is bad news to all or activist supporter of the group in favor of terrorism in the Arab world : I am not in Bietk Kalsmkh in the water, what he says about Mao revolutionalized in society.

Not = Not, One = One , all sounds good, if NOT this week , then by the End of October 2006 !

As I have said IMHO, there must be. Why would they risk everything for nothing. This Goverment has been put in office by the people. Not the BS other say by the US. Now they maybe learning what Democracy is by the US. Which to me shows why it is not a speedy proccess as we want. they have never done any of this before.

And I could care less of what others say. I would like to see what they could get do in another world of time. I believe they are getting it done as fast as possible with all the Crap that is front of them.

Man I take my Hat off to any of these High Power Iraq politicians for taking on the challenge in the first place. It reminds me of Bush as he became president. Man look at everything he has to face upon his Power has taken effect. And this isn't Shiit on what Talibanni and the Iraq Guys have to face everyday with their Lives. A US Puppet....Please.

It is so easy and common for others to point the finger. The Damm Democrates here in America are causing alot of this BS with Iraq. The Elections that are coming up with both Parties trying to prevail are using anything and everything to gain in the proccess. Hell 90% of the American people know nothing about the dinar much less what is going on in the real political world. They only go by what they "Hear". This is why I say "Read and do D&D" yourself. Instead of pointing the finger at the ones that do but, do not post what you want to hear.

Dang, I am cutting loose here. I am as ready as anyone else. But we can not move the r/v. But we can learn what is going on by what most here are doing. Ok I think I got all this out.
