- Agreeing on a timetable for the political (completed) - Formation of a committee to amend the Constitution (completed) - Ratification of the Law of the executive procedures for the formation of regions (completed) - Ratification of the Law of Investment (completed)
- Ratification of the Law Office of the Independent Electoral Commission.
- Ratification of the Law of the provincial elections and to set the date.
- Ratification of the Law of oil.
- Approved a law abolishing the Baath Party.
- Ratification of the Law of the authorities of the provincial councils.
- Ratification of the Law of the flag and emblem and the national anthem.
- Ratification of the 91 was issued by the Coalition Provisional Authority on the armed forces and the militias in Iraq.
- Discussion of a general amnesty, militias and other armed formations.

2007
- The amendment of the constitution to complete its work.

February
- Formation of independent bodies according to the Constitution.

March
- A referendum on constitutional amendments (if that is required).

You're one step ahead of me Web. I was just looking them up on dictionary.com as well to post them here.

Who knows... perhaps this is another semantics situation similar to them using "draft" to represent a "bill". Perhaps to them "ratification" means "pass/approve".

passed and ratified to them are the same. ENACTED is what needs to be done.

ok, then with the oil law, it doesn't say completed behind it so I'm assuming it hasn't passed yet?

Last, I was listening to BBC and NPR as well as Kera today. All three places reported that Miliki??? the PM and Bush spoke today with Tony Snow reporting that The PM was asking of rumors about the US pulling out and giving a couple months deadline to get things done. Basically Bush said that is all BS. We are with you 100% and there is no timeline as for as getting security and ???? in 2 months. Bush also stated that You call me and donot listen to the media cause of the elections coming up, the party's and then the media reports are blown-out, said Tony Snow.

i believe its all been done but posibly not RATIFIED which could take one swell swoop of the pen. i suspect this meeting they had took care of the final discussions and agreed upon ratification. is there parliament today??
