Business Council urges the government to postpone the ratification of any new economic law
Business Council asked the Iraqi government to defer action Awalmsadegh any law or decision pending new economic circulation, with the private sector and consulted to arrive at a common vision of public interest.

Speaker of the Parliament congratulates the new Secretary-General of the United Nations
Mr. President sent the House a message of congratulations to Mr. Ban Ki Moon occasion of his election as Secretary-General of the United Nations, succeeding Mr. Kofi Annan, in which he expressed desire to strengthen the role of the United Nations in Iraq and expand its presence and activities, including contributing to the support and help the Iraqi people and the success of the democratic experiment, praising the Bedouins t and the efforts of former Secretary-General Mr. Kofi Annan, Following is the text of the letter :

It gives me great pleasure to extend warmest compliments and congratulations on the occasion of your election as its new secretary general of the Organization of the United Nations, succeeding Mr. Kofi Annan. At a time in which it expressed great confidence that you will spare no effort to move forward in the policy of reform and development required in the organs and bodies of the Organization and to guarantee to improve the performance of the international organization to achieve the goals established for the sake of their international responsibilities, especially for security and peace in El m ...
