So, anyone else find it odd that Maliki's visit to Turkey is postponed by a dust storm... Hmm, how high does his plane fly? Then its postponed indefinitely???? That must be one hell of a dust storm, maybe it got the CBI server too....

It was a pretty bad dust storm yesterday here in Balad just about 40 kilometers north of Baghdad. Started early in the morning and lasted until late last night. Nothing was flying yesterday that dust destroys jet and turbine engines. Even just the amount they get in takeoff and landing would ruin the engines on a plane so no surprise that they cancelled the trip. Visibility yesterday at times was down to about 150 ft or less and that is in the middle of the day.

Nice find Susie..so they shut down the street across from the CBI...what a fortress that building is...nice picture of it..no windows...I wouldn't want to work there
