Interesting,

With Rumsfield and Rice appearing in Iraq after the nominations, this was a good sign that we are looking to bring home some troops, so the terrorists should enjoy hearing that, so maybe this is the beginning of the end of US involvement. Overall, these were the best signs to date, so the coutdown begins.

We are sorry that we were not able to have Dr Qais Qaddouri on the call last night. He is in Kurdistan and we were not able to get through for several hours yesterday.



However we were able to speak again with Haider from Baghdad and the information he was able to give us regarding the new Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki was very enlightening.



It appears that Nuri al-Maliki is confident that he will have all of the appointed positions filled by the end of next week.



If this happens, the new Minister of Finance would be sworn in and could sign the order to raise the “internal” value of the Dinar immediately. Our sources tell us that it could be about a 40-50 percent raise.



This would be one of two raises that we are expecting. We also expect a major raise when the Dinar hits the world market. We think that this could happen next month, when the World Trade Organization meets.



Of course we encourage all of our members and customers do their own research and draw their own conclusions.



We will keep you up to date with any new information that we hear.

That is an email I got from the online place I first bought dinar. May be just a ploy to sell more Dinar so take it with a grain of salt. However, the part about the Finance Minister signing an order to raise the value is interesting. Maliki hoping to have all cabinet posts filled by next week is right along the timeline I read in an article also.

Welcome to forum,

In my experience researching dozens of distributors, I have found that very few will even take Visa and M/C, and don't recall any taking AmEx, and given the limited window left open at the moment, if you must use AmEx, I would go get traveler checks and deposit in your bank as most require bank wires. Prices are about to move up first tick, so this will become an interesting time to watch this situation and see how fast it rises.

Strange, here is there price list, and $25K notes are $895.00, up to $1,045. for smaller $1K notes, but I don't see $795. ? Either way, prices are on move up.
