As to my opinion re: the clam act . . . In all my dealings with any middle easterner [sp], [and these guys are just the same / even in family & person matters], I have found that they are very animated, vivacious, and excitable . . . UNTIL they are ready for the pay-off / or counter offer / or end of the negotiations . . .
It doesn't matter if they are making a deal for a camel / or a cadilac / it's always the same . . .
Then they clam up . . . and that's how you know it's reached the end . . .
You either accept what they've said / or offered / or you don't . . . the clam act is a sure signal that a plateau has been reached . . .
