do we have a reason as to why the cbi site is still down. this is not normal

Here is a good point about the Chase that I buy from, they don't call anyone! They go by the rate that is currently in their computer, if they haven't updated the system, the rate would not be changed. So it is quite possible that they don't know that nobody has updated the rate yet.

Ok this is how I would ask question and start off with: I notice the Central Bank of Iraq's website is offline, do you know why it would be down?

Do you know when it maybe back online?

Have they traded while it was offline? (if they say no trading, ask why?)

Anyway to find out what the value was?

Are the banks even open to the public?

Hear Iraq was going to give out 10,000 dinar - have you heard anything on this? When they maybe doing it?

Oh heard the Parliment was doing great on passing laws the last few weeks - any idea when the dinar will be traded worldwide?

There is perception among some that the Iraqi govt doesn't give a fack about their own citizens well being. Only when the bureacrats can give themselves a raise do they seem to care about the Iraqis (themselves)
This is a great opportunity to show to their citizens that they do indeed care for their (the citizen's) well being. So I agree with you it makes good sense, however it is the Iraqis we are talking about. They seem to have a knack at missing good opportunities right in front of their faces!!!
I hope this time they finally get it right!!!

if you think about it it makes perfect sense to send it COD. if the driver hasn't collected the money order or cashiers check, then technically you haven't paid for it, so they can do whatever they want, including recalling the shipment.
