To RR. In response to your question about why BoA would be the supply point for the other banks, I have been trying to find an article my brother sent me about a month ago. It was a report from the Army Corps of Engineers about the progress of the modernization of the banking system in Iraq. They were specifically addressing the point about the ability to transact business electronically around the world. They stated that the CBI had come on line and was compatable with the banks in Kuwait, Dubai and Bank of America. Also stating that large transfers of funds to the US were being accommodated by BoA. (Sorry I was off line so long, I actually had to go to the warehouse and fill an order for a customer. Don't they know I have my priorities !!! Dinars First, everything else second !!)

I don't think has been posted,,,but so much has been that I am getting a little confused.

BAGHDAD: The U.S. military on Wednesday reported the deaths of nine soldiers and one Marine, bringing October's death toll to 69, an average of almost four a day and putting the month on course to be one of the deadliest month's since U.S. forces invaded 44 months ago.

Should the pace of death for American forces continue, the October death toll would exceed that of January 2005, when 107 U.S. troops died. The only higher months would be November 2004, at 137 and April, 2004, at 135.

According to an Associated Press count, October is also shaping up to be the deadliest month for Iraqis since the AP began tracking deaths in April 2005. In October, more than 767 Iraqis have been killed in war-related violence, an average of 45 every day.

Iraq's government said on nesday a much-anticipated national reconciliation conference aimed at building political consensus and stemming spirallng sectarian fighting would be held in Baghdad on November 4.

That followed a meeting hosted by Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah in Mecca on Saturday between prominent Shia and Sunni clerics that sought to hammer out an agreement on ending sectarian fighting.

The reconciliation conference was originally scheduled to start on Friday, but had been indefinitely postponed for unspecified ``emergency reasons.'' Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki took office just over four months ago at the helm of what is formally termed a national unity government and has vowed to implement a 24-point national reconciliation plan to heal the nation's severe political wounds

So I'm thinking...it's what, the 19th today? sounds like they are gearing up for their holidays...I don't imagine very many people are REALLY working right now...kind of like me right now in the last days of work before our big vacation...I'm there, but I'm not terribly motivated to get much done.

Of course this doesn't explain why the CBI website is down, but hearing this, that Warka can't be bothered to send results of the latest trading session until AFTER the EID holiday...makes me wonder who else is slackin and sliding into the holidays....

BTW--I haven't been sent the results of MY stock requests, and I'm STILL waiting for my account balance....I'll be emailing them as well and I'll post the response...

Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.
