We spoke with our guy Today, He said, that the reason the site was down was they were changing it to Iraqgov.org or something like that, like ours is USgov.org. He did not say that he had quit selling he has said he will continue to sell until the day of the reval.

He also said there was an auction today and that the going rate was 1470 and $72 mil were sold :-( I was feeling optimsitec that some thing good was about to happen.

Now this doesn't mean that we won't see some action next week before the 10,000 dinars are handed out. I am hopeful that they will do something by then.

If they don't I feel that we have a long wait to come because the people will riot if the reval after they spend their 10,000 dinars.

Her guy is where she buys her dinar from and he's in Tennessee. So I don't know how he'd know more than any of us. Not trying to bash him it's just he's saying there was an auction and nobody here has any information on that.

This whole CBI thing is very interesting. I am not quite sure what to make of it but my gut says it will be some thing good for Iraqis and us.

I don't know what will happen if they give those checks out and they cash them and then they RV a month later it would cause chaos. I really do not see them going passed the compact agreement without an RV. So this would be the only time to RV. I know we are talking about Iraq and they tend to do things completely different from what we think they will do. But it is getting down to the wire they have investors lined up they have the FIL passed and are working on the HCL. And boy do they need the majority of the US house Republican so they need to pull this one out of the bag.

I also think they are being very secretive which tends to make me think that something very positive is being done. We all new when the RV was going to hit some weird things would happen that would make you hmmm. But if they are silent right now I would think it would be a perfect time for a BIG RV!!!!!

I really can't see why the site would be down completely even if they were changing servers or web address. They would put that on the old address saying they are moving or working on the system. But just to be down is very secretive like they do not want people knowing if auctions are going on or what is going on in general JMO.

I just don't think we can stop ourselves from commenting and that is the fun stuff that links us together. I think we can keep the CRAZY thread for just the CRAZY stuff. So we would have 3 seperate threads: 1.) for news posts to chat about 2.) just for news posts, no chat and 3.) go CRAZY thread ( this is more a social conversation club, really fun with the dinar gals, but there is no news there to chat about so it gets a bit disorintated. It's a great CRAZY thread. When we see a topic like IT, CBI down, Dinars changing etc. they should be started in a new thread just for that topic.

I don't see any other way, with all that is going on, to keep it clean. We do want to help the mods, who we so dearly love, but chatting about the news is fun. Today was crazy but great to get everyones comments and sense of humor. I don't think we should stop that but just post the news for those that don't have time to stop and chat.

Ok, my thoughts, anyone else? What do you all think? Would it work? I think it is worth a try.
