The demand for dollar purchase decreased last Monday during the second cession of the Iraqi Central Bank auction within this week, recording a demand amounted to 43 million 800 thousand dollars, down from yesterday which was 46 million dollars.

Purchase orders were divided between 18 million and 690 thousand dollars in cash and 25 million and 110 thousand dollars in the form of remittances to abroad, which the bank fully covered by a fixed rate of exchange for the third consecutive cession, at 1470 dinars to the dollar.

might wanna wipe your peepers off. weve been told the FIL will be implemented by the end of this month, weve been told the dinar will revalue this year significantly against the dollar, all signs have lead to the fact that it will happen within the next 6 weeks if not SOONER.

i dont know if ive mentioned this a million times already or if ive just said it outloud in chat a million times already, but a smart man on iif a couple years ago said to watch the cbi auctions, they would tell you all about the dinar. and, he said when the auctions stopped for a few days you could expect the revalue. hence why ive always watched those auctions religiously and gotten excited with each one that wasnt posted. but THIS. man this kicks in the butt any kind of 'matter of fact' mis-posting of the rate!!! this isnt just one day here or there, ITS 3 DAYS NOW!

this is no fluke or accident or blunder.

It would be nice to see it happen for our opening bell, wouldn't hurt my feelings any, especially with the high yesterday man wouldn't that look good for bush or before the closing bell

To SGS: You are right, after I read the post more closely, it was referring to the Sunday and Monday auctions of earlier this week. Just wonder what is happening over there
