I do agree that this post about moving the web site can be ignored, but I think that the CBI might be considered more similar to the US Federal Reserve Board than to a typical bank. and the fed has a web site URL with .gov

Hi just wanted to add my thoughts on this too. That being that the CBI is not controlled or owned by the government of iraq therefore I doubt they will have a web address belonging to the the government.

Remember how the World Banks, and the IMF keep saying that Iraq must get on board with the "System" before they will be allowed to trade internationally? They will not allow any major country/entity that has wealth to continue doing commerce in private. The use of cash will come to an end. Anyone who has read the good book knows how it ends.

Okay, so just to recap what we've learned on this day (as well as to provide a public service to those who've been away most of the day today):

1. CBI Site is still down
2. Only an ***** would take the site down just to update it.
3. No auctions since Monday.
4. Kurdish Satellite News shows people with a credit-card-sized blue piece of paper that they are all just uber-stoked about having.
5. GBush (the user) is apparently is a wealth of misinformation
6. When the three-legged, one-eyed wolf howls on a moon-less night, we'll see a reval.

Did I miss anything?

And how do I get one of those snazzy blue credit-card-sized pieces of paper. They seem like happiness in your pocket. And let's keep it out of the gutter, please. :þ

I realize this is my first post but for petes sake .... he saying the auction today was 32 million DINARS. This dude makes me laugh !!
