The demand for dollar purchase decreased last Monday during the second cession of the Iraqi Central Bank auction within this week, recording a demand amounted to 43 million 800 thousand dollars, down from yesterday which was 46 million dollars.

Purchase orders were divided between 18 million and 690 thousand dollars in cash and 25 million and 110 thousand dollars in the form of remittances to abroad, which the bank fully covered by a fixed rate of exchange for the third consecutive cession, at 1470 dinars to the dollar.
However, not any of the ten banks participating in the auction, offered to sell the dollar to the bank.

The CBI is moving it site. It will be down for a few days. cbiiraq.gov should be the new site. Auction today32 million dinars sold at 1470.... everything is good!

the cbi is having NO AUCTIONS. IGNORE THIS GBUSH PERSON, THAT IS CLAYS PARTNER IN SLIME.
he is so bright he still thinks the monday auction is being repeated daily, lol. and that was the sundays auction being repeated because of the weekend in nyc. the post earlier was correct that they stopped on the 3rd anniversary of the new dinar.

The other thing is it was my understanding the 1470 was the same as the
.00068 as one is dinar to dollars and the other is dinars to dollars.

so the movement of three would be 1.47 usd = 1 dinar and .68 of a dinar = 1 dollar

sorry but again this is a case of not keeping the same units (dollars vs dinar) on the same side of the equation. anything related to 1470 is dinars not dollars.. so you have it reversed in that last line above.
