Here is the link and info to find this and see for yourself...

Once you click the link to CBK, look on the left and under Market Data click on the Archive link.
Under archive data click on link to weekly reports archive.
Scroll down to area where December 29, 2003 is last data posted and look next report recorded was January 5, 2003...

    Central Bank of Kuwait

    Too much of a coincidence...

    Kuwait:
    12/29/02 Sunday
    1/5/03 Sunday (one week later)

    Iraq:
    10/16/06 Monday

im not good with immediate memory but i dont recall an article.

the best bet at this point is to listen to the brain. no one else could possibly be as informed or educated from what ive witnessed. i sure wish he would have been here for two years thinkin for me so i wouldnt have had to strain.

BS, any updates would be on the CBI site, no auctions since 16th....

    Cool E-Mail to CBI...

Here is an email I just sent off to the "Contact Us" link on the CBI website:

I am inquiring to find out the reason why your web site was unavailable for the past 3 days. I would also like to know why the most current auction information is from Monday, October 16th, 2006 and it is now Friday, October 20th?
Has the Central Bank of Iraq halted auctions?

    Respectfully,

    Howard ******* (Editted)

Now I wait and see what their answer is.... Maybe I'll get a reply, maybe not.
Sure beats asking everybody over here.

I would try to call them but I am uncomfortable with calling international numbers and I cannot speak arabic.

Great idea Hardwood. Let's see what they have to say. That is, provided they answer you.

Dang, I just saw where you said it bounced back. Oh well, nice try.

my posting initiate some not so good answers and some bad reactions against other members postings. sorry about that. that's not wat i want to start. someone say i'm not diplomatic (or something like that). that maybe right but beliefe me, diplomacy is my second prename, but in my language. in english it's realy not so easy to explane what i want to say.

so, please come back to the nice language and words against all here which we have had bevore and which is the standard in rc. but in this tread with news and facts. not with rumors or ideas or so. fore that we have other treads. example the cracy tread where i usulay dont go to read.

i hope this time u all can understand what i want to sai.
    thanks a lot.
