WE NEED POSITIVE ENERGY!!!!!
LETS TALK DINARS!!!!
This is a very nice forum I am fairly new but the thing I like is that nearly everyone is positive. So if you have nothing nice to Say take it to IIF.
The Dinar is a journey a very exciting journey so why not enjoy the trip getting to the destination.
I really do not know why negativity is happing now of all times when we are so close. We all know the longest this will be is the end of the year and that is worst case scenario in my book. I think it will happen before the end of October.
They have deadlines they have to meet with these Laws and debt forgiveness. Which is by the end of the year or earlier. They can not implement the FIL and HCL without some sort of RV. They have already stated that they want to come in close to there neighboring Country's. These Country's also have a vested interest in it coming in close to their currency.
We are riding the coat tails of the Republicans and 27 major Country's and big business they do not fail we are in good company. I believe this is a big plan and it is all going to go together like a big puzzle.
If you do not like SGS positive influence on this site there are other sites. But please do not bring your negativity over to AD or you will get scratched. The best place for you is IIF.
OK I am done Ranting.
HAPPY DINARING EVERYONE!!!!!
Dinar-ExcitedKeep a positive mind.
I have my MOJO back!!!!!!

Is this SGS?
Susan from Anchorage, Alaska: I want to know if those Iraqi politicians are going to revalue their currency so that the Iraqi people have some buying power and can get out of the hole they are in financially?
Answer:
The Iraqi currency is the dinar, which currently trades around 1,450 to the U.S. dollar. But it is a currency that is useless outside Iraq. The key to Iraq getting out of its financial hole is for the security situation to be stabilized, which will allow Iraq to capitalize on its vast natural resources.
Was that you Susie? If it was nice job.
It is a Q&A about Iraq. I just don't know when it was, or who was answering the questions.

Iraqi presidency lashes out at cleric''s controversial remarks

Iraqi presidency lashes out at cleric's controversial remarks
BAGHDAD, Oct 20 (KUNA) -- The Iraqi Presidency Friday condemned statements of Sheikh Hareth Al-Dhari, secretary general of the Muslim Ulama Council, and said they aimed at triggering discord and secretarian fighting.
"At a time the powers of the good, in and outside Iraq, are attempting to repair the crack inside the Iraqi society and distant our country from fighting, some are deliberately working on fueling discord and hampering national conciliation efforts," a statement by the presidency said.
President Jalal Talabani's office received messages from angry citizens who considered Dhari's remarks to Al-Watan newspaper of Saudi Arabia as "lies and full of feelings of hatred." The citizens said the statements of Dhari undermined reputation of those who fought against tyranny in the past.
Talabani's office said the provocative action of Dhari was "yet a continuation of the policy of the group he chairs, and he was the one who fabricated justifications for the mass murders." It said Dhari made the remarks at a time Saudi Arabia was hosting leading Iraqi Muslim clerics to sign the Mecca Document.
Dhari told Al-Watan newspaper that Talabani and top officials agreed in London in 2002, when they were leading the opposition against the former Iraqi regime, to dissolve the Iraqi army, divide Iraq into three parts and evacuate the country from the elites.
Dhari also called for ending the current political process. (end) mhg.WE WILL BE RICHER THEN OUR WILDEST DREAMS

US calls for Iraqi concensus for fate of oil-rich Kirkuk
20 October 2006 (Turkish Daily News)
A decision for a future status of the multiethnic and oil-rich area of Kirkuk in northern Iraq, of which the Kurds are seeking to gain control, should be based on a consensus to be reached by all related Iraqi groups, a senior U.S. administration official said, opposing unilateral moves to win the city's control
"There should be a resolution which will meet the needs of all related sides," the official said. He said the Kirkuk problem should be addressed through consensus, and not unilaterally
Asked how a consensus could be reached on Kirkuk -- home to Turkmen, Kurds, Sunni Arabs and Christians -- which has turned into a bloodbath in recent months, the official said that it would be up to the Iraqis to find a way
The official's remarks calling for a consensus may represent some change in U.S. policy, which until recently had been viewed as a complete "hands off" approach on Kirkuk. As central Iraq, and most notably Baghdad, is on the verge of a full-scale civil war between Shiite and Sunni Arabs, Kirkuk had been relatively calm until this summer, a situation that had prompted the Americans to keep away from that region's politics
The Kurds, whose autonomous region covers most of northern Iraq but not Kirkuk, have been eyeing the city and the oil it sits on since the country's 2003 invasion by U.S.-led allies. Since then, under the pretext of a reversal of a forced Arabization campaign under former dictator Saddam Hussein, more than 100,000 Kurds have flocked to Kirkuk, altering the city's demographic structure to favor the Kurds
Under a provision backed by the Kurds and their Shiite Supreme Council of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq Party (SCIRI) allies in last year's constitution, a referendum should be held in the area to determine Kirkuk's future. And following the three-year Kurdish exodus to Kirkuk, the Kurds now have a majority to win in the referendum
But there are several roadblocks: Iraq's Sunni Arabs, Turkmen and some Shiite parties -- mainly maverick Muqtada al Sadr's Mahdi army and current Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's Dawa Party -- are all against a Kurdish takeover of Kirkuk. Those groups are united in opposing the planned referendum
Also wary of Kurdish aspirations for independence, Turkey has been calling on the United States for the referendum's indefinite postponement and a special status for the city. U.S. President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan briefly discussed the matter when they met at the White House early this month, but the U.S. side just noted Turkey's position
Until recently, the U.S. position had been viewed to mean a tacit support for the referendum process
But the senior U.S. administration official's Tuesday remarks on a much-needed consensus now suggest that Washington will not insist on the referendum if almost all non-Kurdish groups oppose that process.
Like any other matter related to Iraq, nothing is certain about Kirkuk's future. But a diminished U.S. support for the Kurdish-backed referendum likely would kill the process, analysts say
The key factor pushing the Americans to seek consensus on Kirkuk is the rapidly mounting violence in the region
Since June, hundreds of people have been killed in Kirkuk in attacks, clashes, car and suicide bombings and "security operations" by the Iraqi army and police -- that are effectively Kurdish forces.
The violence even worsened following a crackdown of U.S.-backed Iraqi army troops -- read it Kurdish forces -- against insurgents and other opponents, including the Turkmen, early this month. And rising tensions point to even worse violence next year.
The U.S. administration official said that there was no example of an armed conflict in the modern world that could be solved without a national reconciliation process and an accompanying amnesty, and that in Iraq such a national reconciliation was being sought.
Asked if the case of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) also was an example of such an armed conflict, the official said: "No, the PKK is a terrorist organization, and must lay down its arms." He implied that only after the PKK laid down its arms and renounced terrorism, some formula could be devised to integrate the group's elements that were not involved in crimes and violence
The official said Iraqi Kurdish leaders were aware that Turkey should be their most critical ally and most important partner and that the PKK was an impediment to better ties
On Turkey's anti-PKK cooperation with Iran, the U.S. official said it was up to Ankara to decide on its position. But he added that "Iran has not proved to be a reliable and constructive partner" in efforts against such groups
