On 25 February, Al-Baghdadiyah cited a source at the Central Bank of Iraq as saying that the exchange rate of the Iraqi Dinar will rise significantly against the US dollar during 2006, adding that all policies will be adopted to improve the exchange rate of the country's national currency.

This was first posted on IIF. So at the time everyone was in disbelief. That statement was made on Iraqi TV. So someone contacted the TV station to confirm the story. The TV station, said that yes! It was a true story!!!!!!!!!
However we were never able to pin down the CBI source down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Rock on!!!!!!!!!

    Default interesting

This article posted on the isx web site I found interesting in that it helps break down the Iraqi bank system to the most simple components. For me it helped my understanding of what and how things are going to happen. It doesn't need to get highly technical as some put it. This might help some of us to get a better grasp of the situation.
