I know this was taken off of an Iraqi news site. But at the bottom of the site it stated that they were a joint site with the Palestinians. When I read it on the site itself, it indicated to me that the govt they were referancing was the Palestines not the Iraqis. The tip off was when they stated they haven't been paid for 8 months. 8 months ago the Palestines' had an election and Haamas became the ruling govt. Since that occurred the US and EU stopped given them aid and now the people are starving.

when i was in iraq last oct-feb they would do this for just about anything.. from a convoy of fuel coming in to weapon replacement parts to generals showing up .. i wouldnt put to much stock in this .. what it means is they closed down the two roads and sealed off the bridge.. could be a imporant convoy could be a general that showed up if it was some congressmen or other political figure it wouldnt have made the news until next week ( theres about a week lag in news like that )
