Baghdad markets are not usual in the days of the holidays a few years ago and severely crowded Krnvala of happiness and joy. Some markets are suffering from stagnation and inertia, the other witness a remarkable increase in prices. Thus describes the Iraqis if the market one day before the blessed Eid al-Fitr.

"

Hassanein said that Karim was purchased new clothes for the same occasion, but he bought for his children to the joy of Eid Ayhermanm although it is not going to come out of his home as he told us in the feast.
Others argue that the market is witnessing a remarkable increase, especially in household items, which is the high prices constitutes a burden on the Iraqi family.
Abu Ali al-Hajj says "Perhaps the rapid deterioration of security in some parts of Iraq, especially the capital Baghdad, which is considered the main shopping center is the direct reason behind the price increases caused by the reluctance of traders to go to these areas and to provide the local market in various materials, which contributed to the high prices.
He said Mr. Ahmed Mahdi Ekeli (owner of a shop in the market Alcheorgh) "rapid deterioration of security in Iraq and the dangers of the road leading to Amman and Damascus is paid to the Iraqi merchant not to go to the neighboring countries to bring the goods."
He added Ekeli "There are reasons that can not be overlooked is Matedi certainly result in higher wages for the transportation of the consumer to a double fold increase in the price of fuel considerably, which forced the Iraqi traders to refuel commercial markets, which have become ones due to the fuel crisis sustainable."
A grant holidays granted by the Iraqi government to citizens and ordered distributed through agents materials Ethaaeeh additional reason for the price increase Moreover, the absence of the role of oversight entirely to the domestic market.
The Iraqi government had given each individual the amount (10) of thousands of dinars and the ration card donated by the occasion.
And Ms. Zainab Al-Alami (housewife), "The budget Mairehg some families is the rise in food prices, especially on children's clothing because of the high demand on them."JULY STILL AINT NO LIE!!!

I bet we find out by the CBI or FOREX change or of course all the WOOOTS heard from around the globe...but I wouldn't count on there being much news coverage as far as the big networks. Remember this is a positive, great accomplishment...we will be lucky if the human interest page picks it up.

Looks like they're dealing fast and heavy now!
Iraq's oil minister seeks Japanese investment
Iraqi oil minister Hussein Al Shahristani urged Japan Monday to provide vital investment and aid loans to his war-torn nation.
"The oil industry is important for the reconstruction of Iraq," the Iraqi minister told Japanese trade minister Akira Amari during a three-day visit to Tokyo, as quoted by a Japanese government official.
"But investment is not sufficient," the oil minister was quoted as saying. "We would like Japanese companies as well as Japanese official loans to come to Iraq."
Amari, who arrived in Japan Sunday, said that his ministry is now selecting projects to be financed with a package of $3.5 billion loans to Iraq, which was announced by Japan in 2003.
Tokyo is now considering supporting three projects - reconstruction of oil refining facilities as well as the building of pipelines and liquid petroleum gas-related facilities, the official said.
Japan, a key donor to Iraq, has so far offered $6 billion in debt waivers and $1.5 billion in aid grants to Baghdad.
The last of Japan's 600 troops in Iraq returned home in July, completing the nation's first military mission since World War 11 to a country where fighting is under way.
-- Middle East TimesZubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

The Iraqi government had given each individual the amount (10) of thousands of dinars and the ration card donated by the occasion.
Is this like the fist article that's been posted indicating the 10K dinar and ration card has been given? (as in past tense) I don't recall seeing any other article stating this. All along, it's been posts asking for confirmation that the items had been given.

Not To Be A Naysayer, However...
Everything points to the latter part of '07 as far as any type of IQD adjustments...
Good Example: Their inability to track who's spending what. A huge issue & crucial to security. So if Ahmed is spending "X" amount of IQD, we'll know about it. Electronic footprints as it were...
One More: Next comes the fight over who get's what over revenues, like oil. This will come with delay after delay because of greed & hypocrisy on the grandest scales. Iraq's wealth is only surpassed by it's shear ignorance & abhorance of democracy, due to their twisted interpretation of Islam. Don't forget the outside influences either, ie...Iran & Syria, plus what's happening in Afghanistan, North Korea.
In Conclusion: Because of the above (there's much more to the Iraqi Picture than we'll ever know), the talk of Civil War will increase dramatically. Do not be surprised if it happens.
Solution: DX Maliki & his Parliament. America & her allies need to quit pussy-footing around with this b/s & get off the "Appeaser's Highway". Look at where it's getting Europe. Veil, anyone?
And as always, I would like nothing better than to be wrong about all of the above. Have a great day everyone...
