    Cool Hello....Good Evening..Mine..

No one "freak-out". I just moved 20 pages to our "History Thread". I wanted to share that today while at the ....DayJob.... the Eid al Fitr Celebration in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area was less than 5 Blocks from me today. I was amazed at the Thousands that were there. Big Eid al Fitr Prayer sign out front of the Old Shopping Mall (BIGTOWN) where they had the meeting this morning. Just thought I would share that with you.

Now I will go get caught up on the New post for today.

Read the rules before posting in this "THREAD"!! tks-neno

In reference to that IAMB meeting here is a post by Old skier --Good Memory

Wasn't there just a meeting talking about doing away with the IAMB ...like a week ago ???? Making the CBI in charge of all Monetary things ??? or something like that ???HELP !

    Found it !

In conjunction with the presentation of the ICI, here are some other important events:
“The IAMB was informed by the Iraqi representative that steps are being taken to establish an Iraqi oversight body to succeed the IAMB with a formal handover of responsibilities in December 2006.”
International Advisory and Monitoring Board for Iraq (IAMB) -- An audit oversight body for the Development Fund for Iraq (DFI) -- Minutes
Next IAMB meeting is scheduled for Oct 30-31.
"Decides to extend until 31 December 2006 the arrangements established
in paragraph 20 of resolution 1483 (2003) for the depositing into the Development Fund for Iraq of proceeds from export sales of petroleum, petroleum products, and natural gas....."
    http://www.iamb.info/pdf/unsc1637.pdf

With the dissolving of the IAMB and UNSC 1637.......Iraqis will have complete control and oversight of their oil revenue.

    Talking My Thoughts ONLY!!!

Looks like their going to recend the article 1483 and sign article 8 on October 31st! I think since Rice went over and stirred the pot, they decided to go ahead and get-r-done! The Iraqi Government needs it, the Iraqi's need it, the Repubicans need it and of course WE NEED IT! I think that Kawait and Saudi will sign some sort of agrrement first on the 31st, then they will recend the article, sign article 8, announce the FIL enacted, HCL enacted (remember the secret meetings), announce that NOW Iraq is open for business BUT it will cost $?.?? to do business with us.

Default JPMorgan Chase promoting Iraqi investments

Iraq, one of the world’s most interesting new trade-finance markets, offers untold opportunities and challenges for cross-border trade, and an effective structure for doing business in the country is rapidly being developed. Bruce Proctor, senior vice president and global trade-services head at JPMorgan, discusses the Trade Bank of Iraq’s role and explains how companies can take advantage of its services.

I will try to order some more tommarrow morning and see what happens. the only wierd thing about this transaction is that i recieved the dinars in 10 thousand dinar denoms when i have always recieved 25k notes even when i've requested smaller denoms.

Thanks Par....by the way I just edited that post with this...

So in effect...this Marazzi policy will have to do with Susie's find today:

The rise in the value of the Iraqi currency against the dollar would reduce the value of imports, and raising the value of exports. As exports are negligible, the economy will benefit from the policy of raising the rate of the Iraqi dinar. He emphasized that this action has positive effects, when used with other procedures, the most important financial policy, which is based on controlling public spending, The use of fiscal policy to reduce the cash, They are difficult to apply.

It's all coming together nicely don't you think?

    Cheers!

    Hi Daydream,

Thanks for your hard work in translating the word but when you are translating another language using a machine translator you will sometimes come up with words which do not belong in the translation. This time is one of those cases.

For an example here is the first line to the article in question with the word المرآزي included.

Full text:يتابع البنك المرآزي العراقي باهتمام بالغ الاتجاهات السعرية الراهنة
Translation:Following World Marazi Iraqi with great price trends in the current

Full text omitting the word:يتابع البنك العراقي باهتمام بالغ الاتجاهات السعرية الراهنة
Translation:Following the Bank of Iraq with great interest the current price trends

    Hope that helps.
