.....and after a few days he cleans out his post office box and leaves Dodge and all people have is a worthless electronic receipt.
I'll match his 4 guys talking smack with about 30 guys that haven't heard reprint mentioned.

Japan agreed to offer vital reconstruction loans to Iraq to help the war-torn country's oil and agriculture sectors, a news report said.

Japanese officials said it would provide loans of around 20.2 billion yen (169.3 million US dollars) after meetings between Iraqi Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani's and Japanese trade minister Akira Amari and Foreign Minister Taro Aso, the Kyodo news agency reported.

The figure is the latest batch of the up to 3.5 billion US dollars of yen loans Japan pledged in October 2003 at an international donors' conference in Madrid, it said.

The loans will support upgrading an oil refinery and a fertilizer plant, near the southern city of Basra, the officials said.

The Iraqi minister, who is in Japan on a three-day visit that began Sunday, had earlier strongly urged Japan to provide the loans.

"The oil industry is important for the reconstruction of Iraq," the Iraqi minister told Amari during a three-day visit to Tokyo, as quoted by a Japanese government official.

"But investment is not sufficient," the oil minister was quoted as saying. "We would like Japanese companies as well as Japanese official loans to come to Iraq."

Japan, a key donor to Iraq, has previously offered six billion dollars in debt waivers and 1.5 billion dollars in aid grants to Baghdad.

The last of Japan's 600 troops in Iraq returned home in July, completing the nation's first military mission since World War II to a country where fighting is under way.

You are right Susie! When I made that post I was thinking about replacing the oil with the gold not combining them!

I am not sure if this is anything of significance so if somebody with more insight might know. We know that CBI has the updated publication dated 10/18/06. I also was searching around and found this document which is a spreadsheet. This has information from 10/18/06 including foreign assets. It is called KEY FINANCIAL INDICATORS FOR OCTOBER 18, 2006....which seems odd since CBI was down during this period. Again, I don't decipher the financial info as well as most of you so I don't know if it means anything.

You need to realize that you are no higher in life then anyone else, we are all created equal.

And when you post about "mean people suck" maybe you should look at your inner self and ask why. Coincidentally a reprint was done at the 3 year mark in Kuwait also. Kuwaiti citizens were given 180 days to trade their currency, but no foreigners were allowed to.

We were approached by this company, and wanted us to go into this with them. He has tried to convince me that Iraq will reprint, and has sent articles about other countries doing the same. I told him that I didn't think Iraq would do this, and I am sure I speak for all of our members and customers as well.

When the zero lopping comment came out we began to inquire into purchasing bank bonds from the TBI, backed by the CBI for any of our customers who would want to trade their Dinars out. But since we also do not believe that a reprint or zero lop will happen, we let the idea die.

This Dinar dealer is making money three fold. They will buy back your Dinar for the fee, sell it to other dealers at a profit, then wire the money to Warka (and get a small commission). It's a great way to make money for the dealers, but I couldn't do that unless I thought a reprint or zero lop was a reality. I don't get any sleep now, and I definitely wouldn't if I had to lie to people everyday. I'm not saying that this dealer doesn't believe he is doing the right thing, and he might really believe that Iraq is heading towards this option, I just know that I don't hold the same opinion.

I'm also not a fan of Warka..

PS... After all the recent news (even after the Sunday morning let down on the CBI site) we are still going to hold off from selling. Too much happening this month!
