My dealer is not the cheapest out there, but I know him, he's reliable, quick, trustworthy, sells uncirculated dinar, and he accepts credit cards which a lot don't!
You want the new iraqi dinar. The old one has Saddam's mug on it, not a pretty sight and likely to get you shot if you carried it around the middle east!
Prospects? Read this thread or pop over to investorsiraq to have a good old read.
We're almost there for a reval.Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Have done guys. Have a look at this. I feel the 2 ministers posts will be filled next week, but look at the part where it says:
The third challenge is helping Iraq regain its rightful place in the international arena. That includes currency. :0))))) We're sooooooooooooooo damn close I can smell retirement, lol.

Challenges facing Iraqi government
By Hassan Hanizadeh
Thirty-seven ministers of Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki’s cabinet were approved by the parliament on Saturday.
Although the factions of the Iraqi parliament had previously agreed on Maliki’s proposed candidates, the key posts of interior minister and defense minister were left vacant for the time being.
Iraqi political groups are sensitive about these posts because the two ministries play an important role in national security.
During the Baathist regime’s rule, the interior and defense ministries, which were controlled by Saddam Hussein’s relatives, suppressed the Shias and Kurds. Iraqis still have bitter memories of those dark days.
Therefore, the United Iraqi Alliance, led by Seyyed Abdul-Aziz al-Hakim, is making efforts to find two independent individuals not aligned to a particular party to appoint to the key posts in order to avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.
Maliki’s cabinet is to officially begin working next week because any delay would encourage the terrorist groups to kill more innocent people.
Maintaining security will be the most important challenge of Maliki’s cabinet during the new administration’s four–year term in office. Without quelling the terrorist groups, the cabinet will not be able to carry out economic and political activities.
Terrorist groups which are trying to prevent the establishment of stability and security in Iraq are now launching attacks against innocent people to create security problems for the new government.
So Maliki’s government will definitely put the issue of boosting the security forces high on the agenda, but this will not be possible before the interior and defense portfolios are filled.
He has recently declared that he will enlist the armed militia in the Defense Ministry, which will help boost security.
On the other hand, Maliki should vehemently pursue the issue of purging Baathist elements which are opposed to the policy of the unity government.
Another challenge the new government is facing is national reconstruction, which has been delayed due to the security problems.
Therefore, providing services, reconstructing water and electricity networks, and bringing national industries back on stream will be some of the important tasks of the Maliki government.
The third challenge is helping Iraq regain its rightful place in the international arena.
Iraq should quickly define its relations with its neighbors, the West, and the Arab world with sweeping diplomatic moves so that it can have an active presence in the international scene.
The new government must also draw up a timetable for the withdrawal of the occupying forces.
Since this government will eventually control all the country’s security affairs, there will then be no need for the presence of occupying troops because it has been proven that they have not efficiently provided security in Iraq.Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.
Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.
