Either way people will run to cash out but level one can absorb the pressure against the rate [probably both can in reality] but the higher rate is the safer move IMO. Those who cash out low will do it mostly because they are not as well informed as this bunch here.

I agree with you Ranger....at 1.47 rv i will cash 75 percent out and i only have a few million dinar...with a few million US put in a CD or investment that gives you 5% thats like or around $200,000 a year... who cant live off that happy you can have a nice million dollar home and all the toys, travel and live life I hope wiccapeeta way of thinking comes true but im with you opening at around 10-30 cents and even at that im still cashing in a good chunk

Article (138) : Laws and judicial rulings are issued in the name of the people. Article (139):Laws are published in the official gazette, and are in effect from the publishing date as long as it is not legislated otherwise.
Article (140): Legislation remains in effect as long as it is not nullified or amended in accordance to the rules of this constitution
5th - (a) Laws and resolutions passed by the Council of Representatives are sent to the Presidential Council for approval by unanimity, to be issued within 10 days of the date of their arrival at the council.
Article (150): Laws legislated in Kurdistan since 1992 remain in effect, and decisions made by the government of the Kurdistan region - including contracts and court decisions - are effective unless they are voided or amended according to the laws of the Kurdistan region by the concerned body, as long as they are not against the constitution
TEXT OF THE DRAFT IRAQI CONSTITUTION
we know when it went to tali for approval, and thats the presidential council.

and according to the constitution the passing of the oil law in kurdistan would be in violation of the constitution IF there were no stipulation to oil investment in there YET.

Possibly only in Iraq could "Survivor" bring a new sense of reality to reality TV.

Here, it's not called "Survivor." It's called "Playing House." But in a nation skidding toward civil war, putting Shiites, Kurds, Sunnis and Christians under a single roof to "play house" might literally end up as a contest for survival of the fittest.

Might be interesting to know who owns the rights to this show. Any clues?

Thank you Susie for this. I do have one question for you, how often do they print the Official Gazette? Could they have put it in but not sent it to the press yet. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I would like to know. Thanks Susie.

Ooops I forgot the other question. What I have highlighted in red. Could you explain that one also.

Susie you have so much knowledge on this stuff, that is why I'm asking you. Again thanks

Very good point of view IMHO. But with the black market where it is and the IMF and US treasury propping it up, I think that they have to be at least at parity with the neighboring countries. I think the fact that most of us little fish will rush in and cash out is part of the equation already. In addition, once we do, the big fish will jump in the pond and absorb some of the hit. They can sit and wait for another 3 to 4 years.

I did not think of this until I saw your post. But my main concern would be the leadership (brass) booking first. They obviously have more knowledge of the opportunity and the means to buy than the standard enlisted soldier. That would concern me a bit. I have been out 20 years so I am sure things have changed a bit, but you still need that experience to have an effective force. I was an NCO by the way.

Thanks for the post and your service!
