I wasn't going to post this at all but I'll post it in rumors even though it's a fact.

I am an employee for Bank of America in NYC and yesterday all the tellers were brought into a meeting to inform us on new policies for the upcoming month of November, this is done towards the end of the month every month. Anyhow one of the policies mentioned was the sale of Iraqi dinar starting on November 13th. It was not the headline of the meeting and nobody got noticeably excited, (except me and a few other tellers that are in) at the announcement. So for what it's worth you can start to purchase from Bank of America in 2 weeks. Rates, denoms, or other questions were not asked, answered or contributed so I have no further details. Please don't PM me as I know nothing more then what I posted.
Now this is getting very interesting. About 3-4 months ago when i called BoA foreign exchange, they told me that they was not selling or buying dinar and did not plan to do so until they enter the market and they did not see this happening anytime soon and also recommended me not to buy dinar (too late cause i already did). Now that they are saying they are going to start selling dinar mid November is saying alot guys. I hope this fact turns out to be fact. I can't wait till the date has arrived when they are suppose to start selling so i can call and verify.

BoA selling them as of 13/11 makes perfect sense. We're waiting on the Gazette to announce the passing and enactment of the fil. We need this, now at that point the dinar is fully convertible which means it is an international currency again. So it would fit in well with BoA jumping on board. They won't just be selling them IMO, they'll be exchanging too.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Just following up my post above in England 3 of the big institutes are already exchanging dinars, Halifax, Royal Bank of Scotland and Nat West. Imagine how many more will once it's internationally accepted soon?!

These statements about Bof A, are correct. I set up a PTO and its through BofA and I was told that, once the money is revalued, that I could exchange the monies that I have there. This is great news.

Good news Gazza. Once the banks get a whiff of an international currency, moreso one with so much wealth they'll be lining up to trade it.

Not that this will be my route of action, but Im sure that there will be PlentY of soldiers who have more or even less than I do who will just say "Seeya" and walk. Granted that will be harder to do if in the ME, but it will still be an issue Im sure. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I am wondering how to decipher this post about BOA. Are they saying that they are going to offer the dinar on November 13th at the low price of ~$750 per million or are they saying that on November 13th the dinar will be available for investors since the new FIL will be official by then and investors will have to purchase at the newer revalued price? What is everyone else's take on this post?
I guess you could answer those questions by saying yes to all the above. Becuase if it has not revaled by then, then they will be selling it around the current value. If it has revaled then they will be selling it for around its new value, and of course exchanging it too!!! Either way this I think is a good sign especially for me because I don't have a Chase bank close to me but I do have BoA.

ok, we have been sittin around discussing those pdf's i posted earlier and those posts about there being currency restrictions placed by the IAMB, and what this all boils down to is this damn UN and IAMB thing have kept us held up this entire time. we wouldnt have had to search for nothin or listened to a damn rumor one had we known that this was the ultimate goal.

i dont know if they need to have the currency revalued AFTER they drop that 1637 and sign the article VIII which i think will take place on the 30th looking at the lineup or during.
