DD, I don't know about you but being over there for over 2 years did not teach me anything about this investment, so I tend to listen to people like Suzie and others on here that have that upper hand in knowledge about this investment...

The dinar hitting the world market is almost here guys so everyone just chillax. Even if it doesn't happen in the next few weeks the rollercoaster is about to go over the crest. Probably just a few months at worst. Not gonna get my panties in a bunch just because it doesn't happen tommorrow, but how can you not feel the difference between now and 2 or even 1 year ago with this event. Nothing was happening then, and now it seems like things are happening everyday, sometimes 2 or 3 things a day. Heck, there are even mysterious things happening like non-events (was the bank closed or open?). Man, you can't write this stuff. Better than a good book....

So, just chill peeps.

By the way, while I feel that the Iraqi's deserve this most of all, if any of us Americans deserve to profit from this, it is the guys that have been ducking bullets. My hat is off to you guys.

FYI-

A poster at IIF purchased dinars from a dealer in Jordan 2 months ago and it was shipped by Fedex to Upper State NY. He just now learned that the package of dinars was seized by US customs in NJ. He received a letter from US Customs stating that he would be reimbursed for funds lost but will have to pay legal fees. He is waiting to hear from US Customs to find out more.

I'm posting this just so everyone is aware of the risk of shipping dinar by mail.

It may have been in excess of a worth more than 10,000 USD! Then if you do not declare that value. It could be seized!

This is the second time I have heard of this happening, so I suspect customs is taking hard line on dinar slipping past without declared value. Customs is probably keeping it for themselves. (g)
