    Funny,

I didn't know they were removed, so my post would sound a bit crazy to Neno then. LOL Oh well, no sense in repeating the argument since everyone here already knows the facts now. This is the most fun I have had in over a year, the anticipation is great and our little group is sort of hidden from the masses on forum, and that is good since we really don't see too many naysayers here.

    Good luck to all, Mike

    Default iraq stockmarket

does anyone know how one would invest in this.

i take it after the reval theres gona b a lot to be made in this as a vehichle, what with the govt stopping the insurgents and getting the oil out safely, finding more oil, drilling for it, building refineries(?) etc, and the iraq govt being more open to foriegn investors....

    sounds like gold to me.

anyone have any ideas, please post em!

    cheers

    Default safedinar.com

Does anyone have an opinion on safedinar.com? They claim to ship dinars for next day delivery and they accept COD.

    Thanks,

    Johnny

Oil minister offers share in fortune

Iraqi oil minister offers share in fortune 23/05/2006 Source: NDTV Profit

A nuclear scientist who was imprisoned for refusing to work in Saddam Hussein's nuclear programme promised every Iraqi a share of the country's oil wealth during his tenure as the country's oil minister.

Hussain al-Shahristani told reporters that all Iraqis could share the wealth generated through Iraq's oil production if the system were more efficient and free of corruption.

But he advised Iraqis to be patient and warned that it would take time to change the system.

"We will secure oil products to Iraqis by following a comprehensive oil policy to increase production capacity," al-Shahristani said. "For every Iraqi, a share in the oil wealth."

Al-Shahristani escaped from prison during the 1991 Gulf War and moved to Canada. He returned to Iraq after the fall of Saddam in 2003.

Independents within the main Shiite alliance pushed for al-Shahristani to hold the ministry's post because he did not belong to main Shiite parties.

Sunni Arabs also found him more acceptable for the post because he had no ties to armed militias.

Al-Shahristani called for every Iraqi to step forward to help in Iraq's future.

    Interesting,

This is actually going to be the most interesting of all investments to own a piece of this historic occassion where great wealth beyond even Saudi Arabia has, but spread among the people, not just the sheiks and roal family. The commitment to share the wealth with the poeple will assure stability and minimize the terrorists as all the people will be turning on anyone who hurts them in the pocket, and that is the secret to success and peace in the region, so yes, there will be plenty of investment opportunities for us as ISX opens.

    Good luck to all, Mike
