Well, this can be a blessing in disquise. Look at it like this. First of all, a big chunk of money will go to federal and state(if applicable) taxes. The rest of the money will be sitting in our bank account and i am sure our banks would love that. Then I am sure many plan to buy, buy, buy and not only will those you buy from appreciate it but once again, here comes the sales tax on every purchase. Some will branch off to invest in other stocks and markets, which also brings advantages, and others may open their own business, or venture into other forms of residual income. I am sure whatever country you are living in that your country has considered all this and is looking forward to having a bunch of big spenders soon. Why? because this money, for the most part is re-circulating within your country and not worldwide in one form or another with the added cost of taxes and such. It is a win/win situation for all involved.

Very good point I agree. I wonder if anyone knows someone who made tons of cash when the Kuwait currency went briefly to $0.10? I'm wondering how they announced the RV when things got better back then. Since the Internet wasn't widespread like it is now, it must have been very difficult to obtain information.

US Military are paid in US Dollars. 24 Plus years military.
The military person could exchange some into the foreign currency
but would not be given it and told such a thing.

I just got off the phone with the Supply SGT. He was there when I was still in and good friends with my dad.
As a side note, my dad died while processing to go to Iraq the second time in 03. We were both in the same unit after I got out of the RA. Not looking for sympathy, but thought it important to understand the relationship. I did not know he was still there until I talked to my mom tonight about contacts.

He had not heard of the Dinar going to the soldiers and said he will make some calls tomorrow. He will call me and let me know what he finds out. He also told me that his son just got back this week from another unit is AR. (which I didn't know), so I ask him to ask his son which denominations he has or has seen. Is there anything else you folks would like me to ask tomorrow when he calls back?
