Thanks for the replies, guys. I guess I wasn't very clear in my original request. We found the synopsis of that CBI TV interview program quite awhile back. We knew it had been translated into English. What I'm trying to say is there anyone out there that can get an original arabic transcript of the actual television interview with the CBI officials. Can we find out how accurate of a translation the synopsis is??? Did they really say 14 IQD denominations? That is critical if they did. Also the synopsis does not contain all the TV material. That's because it is only a brief summary of the program. There is an outside chance they may have discussed and revealed which denominations have been printed including the lower ones!!! I realize this is a hard thing to watch this and transcribe the words and then translate them. But it could contain the very clue we've been searching for and it was under our noses the entire time. Okay, help me out here...did I miss something...according to this news release they are ready to deal in oil...is this to assume that hydrocarbon law has been done behind closed doors and they are a go....because that is how I read this article....???

Talabani said when asked about whether the United States will close the door to French companies because of the opposition of the war Chirac 'oil companies (French) could come to Iraq. The Americans did not intervene (in their oil) and they do not have any right to intervene '.

I think that the Hydrocarbon law deals more with distribution of the funds received from the sale of oil and where they are dispered to.

Well here is another interesting confirmation of my point.

This link is to the CBI. At the bottom of each page a reference is given to the value of the Iraqi Dinar as of 2002. Considering that the website wasn’t up till 2004 it would appear that the CBI is acknowledging the 2002 rate a real rate…..and that is 3.2169 USD to the Iraqi Dinar

Now I still understand the point you are making but you cannot ignore these reports by the official sources either. So again we have two choices, slow grow or peg and I believe the political climate as cited recently by the official reports point to the latter.

Also obliging your 17 trillion theory, citing this official evidence would prove a .75 cents USD at the minimum.

But then again, its just that there are all those darn official documents

In any case we are soon to find out that answer right?

posted an article that stated the laws are automatically enacted after 30 days so that would put it auto on the 9th.
