Pardon my ignorance - i know they removed this wording from the banking laws this morning.... but i still don't know what is the gazette? Does that mean on the CBI web site or...??

Prime Minister Nuri Kamel al-Maliki in his office official in Baghdad today, Mr. John Negroponte, the American director of national intelligence.
It was discussed during the meeting the latest developments in the political arena in Iraq. It was stressed that the readiness of the Iraqi armed forces and the importance of construction in terms of number and preparing to be eligible to receive the security file.
As was discussed in the nature of the political dimensions of the security problems facing Iraq.
Mr. Negroponte, and renewed emphasis on the support of the American administration and President George Bush to the Iraqi government.

I was thinking about the 3 months that they are giving the Iraqi's to use the ration card. I think this is a tool they are using to jump start the economy. You make everyone spend there 10,000 dinars in a 3 month span and the economy will explode. That is if it is revalued prior to being issued. If you give them 1,000 - 10,000 USD worth of buying power, that is going to solve alot of problems for everyone in that country. Not to mention create a huge amount of jobs.

On another subject: I have heard that there is alot of GOLD in Switz banks that belongs to Iraq. Have you heard or read anything about this? I am trying to locate info but can't find a source.

This is the "OFFICIAL" or suppose to be publication of the Iraqi government when laws are enacted or anything government related is put into effect such as laws, instructions, etc.
