Thank you, but that doesn't give a starting time. I guess, to be more specific, I'm after either A) what time the verdicts will be read, or B) might I wake up tomorrow morning around 8:00AM EDT, and log on to FoxNews, and read that the verdict was announced? Is it possible no one really knows when all of this will play out tomorrow? If so, that's fine - Just wanted to pose the question, in case anyone else was wondering when this might happen, precisely, like I am. Thanks...

    RE: timing of verdicts

as of a couple hours ago, FOX was reporting that there was really no guarantee that the verdict would be announced tomorrow but they were fairly confident that it would be read sometime early in the day Iraq local time.

from that I don't think there is a definite time available.

Since tomorrow is as big a day as others in the past where rumors and indicators pointed to a possible reval date, I thought it might be prudent to ask a question: If RolClub gets inundated with visitors, and the site goes down again, what is the back-up forum for us to use? I know that some have said that won't happen, but Never say Never. So what is the back-up plan should it happen? Thanks...

Any extended appeal process would be deadly for Iraq. Thirty additional days will guarantee an uptick of violence against our troops and innocent Iraqis. I'm sure the liberal media press here and abroad will cry foul if they execute Hussein sooner than later because they habitually side with the enemy. A possible strategy to diffuse anticipated violence to a guilty verdict and subsequent execution would be to announce a reval / reversion of the dinar before a Hussein verdict and provide a 'double shot of my baby's love' (love that song) to the Iraqi people. RV and a DOA for Hussein. The former Baathists and Hussein loyalists will still likely still go berserk but now their location(s) may be leaked to US and Iraqi security forces by Iraqis who will suddenly realize a more financially prosperous future for them and future generations. The Shiites and Kurds finally have their mortal enemy in hell and get concrete proof that their economic and financial futures are in an ascension mode. A taste of honey can change the mindset of an entire nation. I believe we will witness this, soon.

I have been thinking about this since this morning. Without stepping into the conspiracy theory zone, we have all known about "misinformation" being thrown out when breaking news was coming or to cloud the issue. How perfect is this scenario. All the security, cufew, airport shutdown, etc, only to announce a reval.
    VERY interesting times indded!!

Here's to all of my wealthy friends!

    Default Somthings bothering me...

Just having an uneasy feeling about tomorrow. While I want this thing to reval as bad as anyone, I've got a hunch it may not be tomorrow.
With Saddam's verdict due tomorrow, there's been a curfew Imposed. No one on the streets, no cars, airport closed Indefinetly...
Just having a concern the Iraqi gov't would not make this type of announcment and hand out cards with a reval and no one is allowed out of there house.
There is no doubt that a reval is emminent, but could they still do this tomorrow and have people under curfew with no outside activity allowed?
Just throwing it out there for discussion, I'm no expert, but it is a concern I'm having.
