Did they actually say those words, "New Economic Package"???? Please tell me they really said that, if so, that sounds AWESOME!! I don't make it a habit of watching CNN but may have to to hear about this!! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Hope your Mom is doing well.

Now this woke me up. I know we can all assume what the economic package is about but I would sure like to know exactly what it entails.

We have talked in the past about Iraqi children's shoes cost 15,000 dinars. Will Iraq have to change the cost of everything in their country. I understand they do not shop like "we Americans" but, could someone give me a quick Economics 101...(took it in college, but that was a "few" years ago!!

Think I read somewhere a while ago that they did this with the Kuait R/V, not any big announcement, very suttle.

actually, common sense would indicate that they will announce the revalue of the dinar BEFORE they announce the verdict of saddam. the sunnis who are the ones who have an issue with saddam gettin the ax are mad because they have lost their riches that saddam basically guaranteed them. how do you calm angry beasts who want the riches back they used to have and keep them from having a fit if you ax their sugar daddy??

Just Make a Adjustment to the amount of dinars to the dollar.

Example: A case of root beer is $17 (25,000nid's)
after r/v, like 1 to 1
case of root beer now is still $17 but now just 17 dinars.
