CNN has been talking about the importance of this trial being a milestone that shows that Iraq has fullfilled all their International obligations according to international law in the justic system. The trying of one of their own according to the lternational laws shows their ability to comply with these standards. This may be another step to freeing them up to move ahead proving they are accomplishing international standards.....economic next!
