Saddam to hang. Well, there are your dancing Iraqi's. Everyone dancing in the streets. I suspect this news cycle will last till election day, so I'd be surprised if they also announced the reval. If they do I don't think it will go till tommorrow at the earliest, as this looks like it is going to be the 10 second sound bite that they wanted for the elections. Should last at least one day. Who knows though, America does seem to have a short attention span nowadays, so maybe they want 20 seconds worth......

If you notice the CBI has not updated yet today. This afternoon it will be interesting to see what happens when the foreign exchange opens. They may just do everything at once. This is absolutely PRIME TIME to do this reval. How fitting bringing back the wealth. Read my siggy.....it says it all!!!

    Thanks kiko, nice one.
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Let's say today is not the reval day. Let's say tommorow is not the reval day.
Let's say there is NO REVAL.
    What's bugging me:
What the heck are they going to do with the 1, 5 and 10 dinar bills? Put 1,500 1 dinar bills in a bag and go buy one loaf of bread? there is nothing that they can buy for 1 dinar ...or 5 dinar...

We have heard that these small denoms are in the banks. Now, come on, a bank teller who does not distinguish between the big and small denoms? And what would be the point of saying that she saw these banknotes, if that's not the truth?!

I am saying that for people who feel a little depressed because we did not hear anything yet today about our reval ( I know you are there, mates!).
It is definately coming. If the smaller denoms are there in the banks, there is NO WAY for no reval. Just logical.

Agreed matey, facts speak for themselves, hence my post yesterday, we know every day we're a day closer to our dreams.
