its gonna happen soon....if not by the first of june,by the middle...IMHO..no facts to say so...just my gut feeling.....waiting on adster to get back friday...he and mike will let us know when it pegs.....hope it pegs at a good rate.....GO DINARS....Pat

That was what was throwing me off. They are printed in sequence and the 2 and 3 were looking just alike and was making me think hummmmmm. But all cleared up now. Great link for understanding.

Yes tiffany it is the first, and I promise it want be the last. hehe

I for one want mind if it is later for the peg. Not to hurt these guys already holding, but so I can get some more in the future. Not really greed but when it does finally peg be nice to have that New Found Wealth. The more the Marrier.

I got another 250,000 coming tomorrow, so any day after that will be fine with me.

With all the increased violence, I am having doubts about the peg happenning within the mention June dates. Does everyone think it is still ontrack or are we looking at six months to a couple of years?

I believe it will be soon, with the cabinet in place and the Iraqi people wanting value to their money, it is only a matter of time. I still think Mike (OSW) had a good idea, we all need to fork out some dinar and pick a date for when it pegs and whoever is the winner gets the dinar. Any takers?

The nunbers you are referring to are date of currency printing, and you will see about three different sequence of numbers as I recall bases on when they were issued, with most being 2003. Glad to hear you got your order in un-circulated, most I hear are getting circulated now.

Interesting,

Personally, the killing puts more pressure on gov. to revalue as it will squelch much of the violence once the wealth is spread around to the terrorists. Just a year ago eveyone said the terrorists would prevent the government from forming, and look what happened. The same is true for the revalue, it will happen regardless of terrorists, this is there last stand in my opinion, so of course we see a spike in bombings at this time.
