Exactly!!! And hasn't it been discussed thoroughly that the CBI is not governed by the government but by the CBI itself....in other words government parties do not decide it's policies....I am cautiously optomistic about the exchange opening and the next posting of the CBI which they may very well update this evening before the forex opens.....Remember this is their game, their rules, and their ball so to speak....we are spectators!!!! But it's all good!!!

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTT
Okay, I checked with my husband who was in Iraq recently serving with the Army as a company 1SG and asked him about whether soldiers could go into banks and purchase etc. He said he did not see why not...he said when he was on patrol he was required to go in all the markets, shops, police stations etc. He said there were no banks on his patrol. He did say that guys assigned to Civil Affairs would most likely have daily dealings with banks and the private business sector especially when they needed dinars to pay informants etc. Take it for what it is worth...just thought I would let you know that it is not out of the question.

Something else is strange...They updated the Al-Mada Daily News a few hours ago. At the top was something with the word Private in it. It wouldn't let you click it to read it. NOW...The whole update is gone and it's back to Nov 4th.

    Cheers!

Default Well this is part of the Problem right here!

"I think the trial was fair," the president told The Associated Press at his deluxe Paris hotel, where he watched the proceedings live on television. "Those people had the full right to say what they intended."

If most of the politicians in Iraq dont even live there, but rather in Paris (which I heard from someone the other day - this is confirmation); why would they be concerned about their people in Iraq. As long as they are lining their pockets everything is OK ( they can afford to live in Paris) they must be doing something right and have some pretty good connections!

(this may sound stupid but here goes) In NYC, most of the civil service workers must live within a certain distance from NYC to even get the job.
Perhaps all these parlimentarians that dont show up are over in France (on the horizon for them, the doors to foriegn investing ) why go to work when you can still get apid to sit on your Ars in Paris - free of the concerns of everyday violence and threats. Better to separate the haves from the have nots.

It should be manditory for the politicians to live in Iraq-then maybe they would give a shite. Or Maybe Paris is their Camp David. LOL
