Hi all, just got a bit of time in the internet cafe as it is cloudy outside and Mrs A wanted to check her ebay, lol. Having a great time although our ruddy flight got cancelled, technical difficulties!!! lost a day, had to fly out on Friday instead, holed up in the Hilton down in Brighton! Not good. Never mind. NEVER FLY WITH EXCEL AIRLINES, THE PITS, SO MANY COCK-UPS....

Anyways, checked the old SI account, looks like tomorrow for me, not sure if will get the chance to get back in line though so may have to wait till Friday....

As for the peg, we have sky tv here with our villa and it has all the channels so Bloomberg has been on a lot of the time! We have been imagining buying one of the villas out here if it pegs in the next 3 days!

I have had a look elsewhere and it looks like it still can happen up until the 1 June. One rumour is it will be from week beginning 5 June......Again take it for what it is, it will happen just a case of waiting as always. Although the minister posts have not been filled we do not need that for a peg.
I see those in hyipeffect will be paid from next week, good news. :0)

Well that is the news for now.

Will post when we get back on Friday, fingers crossed for now.

I rarely post but have been reading all the threads for several months as I too have money tied up in PIPS. As far as the Dinar I bought 200,000. I found out I had cancer in December 05 and was unable to work. It has since been removed. I will have another checkup in June to make sure it did not come back. My house is in foreclosure and is going to be sold on June 21 so
I am praying that the Dinars peg at .30 or more before then. Sorry just had to get this off my chest.

Steakman44, I will pray that all goes well for you. I am sure you will be just fine. I hope the peg will be higher that way you can have some breathing room without worry.

Alright Tiff! I think we are definitely going to need a 12 step program for you once this pegs. You are going to have withdrawls from buying dinar! We'll have to find other things for you to buy in its place!

I SWEAR!!! I was looking through my dinar-filled-box and thought "hmmm! I should get some more smaller ones....the few that I have look lonely!" and off I went to the computer and ordered some more 500's and 1000's!

I HAS to peg pretty soon so I can rest my mind!! I am CONSTANTLY thinking!

There was a segment on FOXNews at around 2 o'clock this afternoon with a US representative (LOOK! I don't know specific names here...I'm new at this! ) in Iraq that was saying how great things were going and that a Sunni (I'm fairly POSITIVE) that is a spokesman in the cabinet was once arrested by the US troops (!) and was dead set against the troops being there, now WANTS the troops to stay until the government gets "their feet under them" because he NOW SEES the big picture and how it will affect Iraq as a whole! Pretty amazing, if you ask me! Oil was also spoke of and how they are looking into splitting dividends among the Iraqi people...which was also mentioned here in our thread!

I just can't help but think that everything is falling into place quite nicely and that getting their money tradeable/exchangeable would be one of the next steps to jumpstart their economy. I could be wrong, but that's what I'm feeling!

Choochie....what did you have in mind for 'other things for me to buy'? I can think of a BUNCH of 'other things'!
