Photocopying each of your dinar not only proves they are yours but makes a notation of every serial number. That way no one can switch your's for counterfeit ones, etc. It's just a safety precaution but worth the time to do it.
Several bills can be placed overlapping each other on the copier, as long as the serial numbers are visible and this will save time and paper.

My good friend. If we are talking millions of dollars here I'm not letting it out of my sight. I will watch the "authenticating" process with my own millionare eyes. I think I can afford the plane ticket for this if we get the 1:3 we want.

With the comment of having your dinars off to authenticate.....I will drive or fly to NY with my dinar before i hand my dinar to the bank for them to send them off Im not taking any chances. I want it done right in front of me...Im not taking that chance. Dose anyone know of any banks that has the proper machine to authenticate dinar right then and there??? I remember a while back that there is a special machine from the De la Rue ..but it could have been a rumor....when i read it it was a while back at the IIF

If the 1 IQD: $3.22 re-val happens there is no need to worry about it. I'd predict a list of such banks will be on all the Forums within an hour of that grand event. And I'm with you, bro. That stack of IQD will NOT leave my sticky hands until I see the correct digits reflected in my multiple bank accounts.

and that friend of his was visiting another that also has dinar, and his son is in Iraq. and he went to the CBI bank to purchase Dinar and they said we could not. If the notes have to be sent away to be authenticated and can't be avoided there are ways to protect yourself legally and documenting the notes and serial numbers is the best way to begin the process.

I find it hard to believe anyone would let the IQD be taken from their hands. We're talking literally millions of USD here, my friend. I'm not going to a bank, handing over millions of dollars, and trust photocopies or scans to be my "backup" if something goes wrong. At 1 IQD to $3.22 USD I go where me IQD go. I'll be married to that stack every step of the way, bro. And I'll be waiting for the Honeymoon!!!

do you suppose the banks will want your deposits and as much money as possible from those deposits counting toward the total amount? if they are a smart business they want as much of your dinar as possible to exchange.

ive watched how banks handle money and considering thats their main function to process monies they have rules and laws that check and double check them and cameras running constantly etc. unless you planned on trading your dinar in with some bohica operation from the dinar forums, to suspect banking establishments of stealing part of your dinar or claiming it isnt any good is silly. any monies that they dont exchange will be legitimately and legally handled with your total knowledge.

mainly what they are looking for is all the stolen dinar that got away. as long as you purchased your dinar through a reputable source you have nothing to worry about.

What you say about banks here is true. But considering the amount of cash involved here, I for one will not taunt Mr. Murphy and his famous laws. There will be multiple banks that can do the authentication right in front of your eyes. New York is not the only one. I prefer to watch the process.

Just think when I was visiting IIF every day they called us a bounch of paranoid individuals. When we talked about cashing in the dinar by copying and writing down the serial numbers. Munnybags, I do like your idea the best tho. I'm going to Seattle to cash mine in. I'm hopful there will be a bank there that can cash them in.
