    Default I finally got mine

I received my Iraqi Dinars today, all in 1000 notes. If you use a magnifying glass to look at it, it looks three dementional. Very cool.

It seems to me that there is still way too much violence from the insurgents causing instability for the Dinar to "PEG" anytime soon, but I know that events can change very quickly on the world scene so, who knows. Personally, I would like to have more time to acquire more Dinar before it takes off. I hope everyone is able to get all they want. It seems like to me that this is going to do very well, it's just a matter of when and how long.

    Default Some more news

"BAGHDAD, May 30 (Reuters) - Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said on Tuesday no pro-government party militias would be exempt from his plan to disband irregular armed forces, a vow that could put him at odds with close coalition allies."

"Pressed to confirm that even the biggest militias run by governing parties would have to go, he specifically named the Kurdish peshmerga, the Mehdi Army of radical Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr and the Shi'ite Badr movement as being among those that would have to be disbanded."

"Referring to Law 91, a measure passed by the U.S. occupation authority, he said that spelled out 11 political militias that would have the right to have their members join the official security forces rather than simply be thrown out of work..."

Royal Jordanian will start to operate bi-weekly direct flights to Sulaymaniah, northern Iraq, as of June 5, 2006, in addition to the regular flights the airline conducts to Baghdad, Basra and Irbil.

The company's decision to launch the new destination in Iraq was taken due to the growing demand for travel between Jordan and Iraq. Opening the new route to Sulaymaniah, which will service businessmen's travel and incoming workforce to Iraq, increased RJ's operations between the two countries to 25 weekly flights, 16 of which are operated to Baghdad, 3 to Basra and 4 to Irbil, besides the twice weekly flights to Sulaymaniah.

This is good news! More flights must mean they are feeling more secure!
