I sent you a welcome yesterday when you joined rolclub. You are now apart of the rolclub Family as well as the dinar Investment club if you want. You will meet Great people in the dinar club as well as your rolclub family too.

I except your reguest on behalf of us all. And again welcome to rolclub and the The dinar Club. Now I believe OSW will Lead that.

I've been having that problem also...Instead of counting sheep...picture a tree filled with Dinars and count the ones that fall into your outstreched hands!

Well...it works for me!

( I understand about your 'bad hair day' comment too...but it will be worth it on the beach and playing with the dolphins! )

Honestly, to tell you the truth I don't really care where that dinar has been LOL. Once it pegs, I will be able to afford all the mouthwash I'll ever need HAHHAHHAHA. Lets enjoy our 'toilet paper' money for now cuz soon it will be worth MUCH more than that. I will actually kind of miss having all my dinar after I have it exchanged. Perhaps I'll take the advice of a few in here and hold onto at least half of it for when it's value rises again after inital peg.

I have a question for Adster/OSW or anyone else that can answer:

There has been talk about the ISX and the fact that they will most likely open up to the world once the Dinar pegs. I for one am not too familiar with stock trading so I wouldn't have the slightest idea on what to do with the ISX once it opens to the world. I think we should start a thread and discuss about the ISX for us newbies. Such things would be how to start off in the first place. What kind of trading account you would need and what trading companies are best to use. I would much rather be prepared BEFORE the ISX opens to the world than be left behind. I was lucky enough to get 'in' and buy some Dinar a couple of months ago before it revalues so I would like to know as much as possible about the ISX and how one would go about investing in it once it does open for us all. Thanks guys an' gals.

I agree with you. I have a friend that is a guru with comodities. I dabbled with them and did ok, but I did make nearly as much as with dinars. I agree with you, the more you read this forum, the more you learn. I would like an education in the world of ISX. Knowledge is power.

My husband is a funny man. He loves that I am all over this. He has nicknamed me "Bagdad Betty". I crack up every time he calls me that. (buy the way my name is not Betty)

ISX is the Iraqi Stock Exchange. Right now if you want to invest, you have to go though one of their recommended broker. Unfortunatly, there are not advanced communication methods available and it is most done in writing. Also, and I am sure that either Adam or Mike will correct me, but you have to have an Iraqi Bank account. The information I have been able to get on this right now, is that they want investments into their banking and oil production areas, but there is also farming and construction (rebuilding).

At this time the stock market is manual trades, but the computerized system is being installed and should be ready in a month or so, and when it is, we will be allowed to trade. Currently it is closed to outsiders, so the amount of potential growth of stocks will explode when opened up to the worlds investors. Having an account in Iraq will not matter then, so we should all be able to open broker accounts at that time.
