His quote was " that you are not stupid for investing in it and anything that Chase was involved with would be good" I tried to get more info out of him but he said he could not talk about it anymore then that. just thought it was interesting that a underwriter from Chase was aware of the dinar and confirmed it as a good investment.

Makes sense to me. Think about it...if you have $100 bills in your pocket, do you like breaking them or is it easier to spend when you have $1s, $5s, $10s, and $20s?

    Good luck to all, Mike

Sort of balances the governmental team; one advantage if you think about it, is that Dr. Gates brings more clout being a part of the Baker Iraq finding committee and will not be "hounded" by the "Red or Blue" team!

If he ever attempted that move Iraq would dollarize their economy just to screw him. It won't happen and that's why he has not already done so.

He could then put a demand call on the money and the CBI/ICI (and other entities backing the currency) would have to support that call. This in affect give Soros a monopoly on the entire Iraq economy. Doesn't anyone remember what he did to the bank of England almost bankrupting the country!!!

When Iraq becomes a member of the WTO they will have to abide by international law and would forced to succumb to Soros's demand call. That alone is the reason that the currency needs to revalue.

Also, consider this 5 years ago, a Mercedes was considerably cheaper than it is today. Even taking into consideration annual price increases in Germany inflation, etc. there has been a "significant" price increase in the cost. Why, because, the Euro has gained against the dollar by 30%. Germany uses the euro so they are going to price things in Euro period. If the US exchange rate happens to be worse, US citizens will simply have to pay more for the car.

This is why the EU does not necessarily want a huge disparity in exchange rate, why, because as european goods become more expensive, there becomes a point where these goods become too expensive for the US citizen, thus sales slow down and ends up negatively affecting with their economy.

Adster has been known to take a little "Well-Needed " break from the forums every once in awhile. Just a few days ago he advised us here to step away from the computer and breathe.

The emotional rollercoaster that this investment puts us on is unlike ANYTHING I've ever experienced. Feeling a bit 'Crazed and Stressed'? Yah...me too....glad to see you a bit un-glued also Mike!!!! lol! Mr. Calm-Cool-&-Collected......good to know that it's not just me! Any 'wurd-from-the-Kurds' worth mentioning? ( now c'mon! THAT was funny! lol!)

P.S....still holding out on my lease! Only have 2 more payments...am I gonna make it? Or am I going to need to "hold out" for the vehicle of my 'choice' after a reval?

Relax everybody....only a matter of time!

Sorry Neno, I rarely post but here is my take on the r/v, silly but here goes.

I've been playing this game Luxor Wrapped, Mac version, for months now. It's been a way to relieve frustration and to waste some time while waiting for the r/v. Half way through the game I kept saying to myself when I finish it will be time for the r/v. A few times in the game I thought I'd never get past a certain point but I persisted and FINALLY today I beat the game and this was at the end.

You have defeated Set and his Minions and thwarted his Evil plan.

For this deed your name will live in the hearts and minds of our people for all eternity...

... and you'll receive tons of Gold, Gems and a Big, Big Villa on the Nile.

A requirement for belonging to the WTO is that your currency MUST be traded internationally.
