BTW, everyone else--I went back through this thread, skimming, and saw that the first mention of the 10,000 dinar being handed out on the 12th was me--I was responding to something I THOUGHT I saw...but looking back now, I can't seem to find a prior reference. I'll look again...sorry for the confusion...

if people pick up reading and posting where they left off they are bound to miss a few identical answers to theirs before they post the same answer. if you start where the thread ends then you are reading stuff backwards which is confusing for some.
im terribly sorry that youre bored but i find what people say interesting no matter if its pertinent or not. besides, no one said you couldnt post and reading complaints like this to me is boring.

How is this for reaching. Does anyone remember if the few other times the CBI SOLD dinars was it always an even number like the 3,000,000 it was the past two days? The reason I say that is it does seem odd that the buying banks total would add up to that two days in a row or even one day, unless it is something that was planed by the CBI ahead of time. I don’t know how these auctions are done if it’s on-line, on the phone or in person, but if these dinar would happen to be the smaller denominations I could see this as being each banks equal share of small denoms hence the even amount. Another thought is with everyone picking up their EID “gift” at only two banks in Iraq we could now have two banks with a bunch of small bills to pay the people out with. Told ya I was reaching.

sorry, i didn't mean to open up a can of worms over the date of the 12th i just didn't know where it originated from. i'm sure you seen it somewhere and someone will find it and confirm your findings. i also hope this thing R/V's soon!

Government spokesman yesterday, Wednesday, that it is expected that the ministerial changes are expected before the end of this year.
He explained to Skinner, "there is a response from the masses for change, Contrary to what has been happening in the past. "
He added, "The government wants to achieve high efficiency in performance, But would not change the Prime Minister but because it blocks a political agreement, I expect that the change before the end of this year. "
Skinner did not refer to the concerned ministers and the change, saying only that "there is a large number of ministers will be changed and mass chest shown willingness to change and the six ministers but Iraqi coalition will decide, and there was consensus and the Iraqi bloc led by Iyad Allawi. "
In response to a question about whether the blocks do not have the best candidate for the post, the Skinner said "blocs expressed willingness in this case to the nomination of technocrats."
