After watching the post election coverage on several different networks I have come to the conclusion that the Democrats taking control of both houses is great news for us, the investors in Dinar.

IMHO the government of Iraq has got to be crapping itself that we are going to pull out before they are ready. If we hit the road, its open season . . .bringing pictures of Somalia and warloads to my mind. The Iraqi government is really going to have to accelerate its independence to show the world what a power they can be on their own free of the US.

They only way to stop the violence, get money into the pockets of the poor, jobs to the jobless and Nintendo DSes in the hands of the little Iraqi kids. They cant do that with a currency worth less than the paper its printed on.

I am looking for that golden goose to lay its egg before this month is out. If not, then Im eating that silver bullet on Jan 1 2007.

WASHINGTON — The United States has found 500 chemical weapons in Iraq since 2003, and more weapons of mass destruction are likely to be uncovered, two Republican lawmakers said Wednesday.

"We have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, chemical weapons," Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., said in a quickly called press conference late Wednesday afternoon.

Reading from a declassified portion of a report by the National Ground Intelligence Center, a Defense Department intelligence unit, Santorum said: "Since 2003, coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent. Despite many efforts to locate and destroy Iraq's pre-Gulf War chemical munitions, filled and unfilled pre-Gulf War chemical munitions are assessed to still exist."

He added that the report warns about the hazards that the chemical weapons could still pose to coalition troops in Iraq.

I called BOA in NY and got their FX Dept. The guy said he has not heard of any plans to start dealing in IQD. I told him that people have gotten IQD from other banks with BOA straps on them, he said, "I don't know about that". I asked him if he gets a lot calls like this about dinar, and he said "yes every day, about 10-20 calls a day about dinar".

If you do that I won't be able to enjoy your posts anymore. Be patient we both know it is just a matter of time. God willing it happens in the next two weeks cause I am sick of working 14 hrs a day and being 2000 kms from home. Relax maybe we can have a beer with a lot of other really rich people soon.

Hey Arkie, good to see you. Wasn't it stated somewhere earlier this week or last week that BOA would begin buying and selling dinar on 11/13? If so, this makes sense to hand out the stipends and the $10K dinar on 11/12/, doesn't it? I am thinking RV so that the money is worth something...just my thoughts.

Hi Everyone,

My take on this is that the biggest way to help stop the violence and militias is to boost their economy by letting in the Foreign Investment and RV the currency. By letting the Investors in they will create jobs for every Iraqi that wants a job and make what they earn be worth something. I think Maliki needs to take a class on how to speak to the Parliament and political leaders. Maybe the Iraqi people and are selfs are in for a big surprise like a big RV JMO.

I am just hoping this 2 dinar a day change in the exchange rate that we've seen as is moved to 1466 isnt their idea of a reval . . .at that rate it will take 47 years for me to make a killing :)

if BofA was going to start selling or exchanging dinar on the 13th, you would not hear about it just by calling someone at the bank. This is insider information and they would be put in jail if they did know something and shared it. I doubt anyone has any detailed information about when or what they are planning. If they did, it would come 1 or 2 days in advance as to not get shared with to many people. I do believe it will be tomorrow, but I don't think that by calling a bank you will find anything useful or realiable. Lets just ask the banks tomorrow when we cash in. YA!!!!
