In other news, soldiers from 2nd Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division, conducted a cordon-and-search operation early yesterday to capture terrorist leaders in the Adhamiyah district of eastern Baghdad. In what officials described as an "intelligence-based, precision mission" dubbed Operation Roaring Tiger, the soldiers netted 19 suspected terrorists. Officials said the mission will disrupt the enemy's ability to conduct future attacks in the Adhamiyah area.
One detainee, while being processed, reported having difficulty breathing. He was taken to al Yarmook Hospital, where he was pronounced dead of a heart attack. No Iraqi or coalition soldiers were injured. "This was a complex operation that netted 19 suspected terrorist leaders from 14 different locations," said Army Maj. Gen. J.D. Thurman, Multinational Division Baghdad commander. "It was planned and executed by 2/6 Iraqi Army. It is not only indicative of their capability, but shows the Iraqi people their soldiers are not only taking the fight to the enemy, they are winning."

Time To Come Out Of The Closet

This is why I haven't posted before- I don't know how to spell it ) in Pittsburgh, PA. Joey bought dinar in March, AFTER talking to one of his professors who teaches at the University AND works for Merral-Lynch, developing investment portfolios. In March, when Joey first approached him regarding dinars, the professor told him to buy all he could get his hands on. Then in April, he told Joey about some Canadian Oil company that Joey should buy stock in, as it was going to be greatly affected in a positive way due to some dealings with Iraq's oil industry. We never really caught the name of this Co. but betcha its got to be the same Co. posted by Raditz on page 112! Another good reason to form the investment club forum. Thanks to everyone that contributes- from all of us that don't (I'm sure there are way more "feeders" than just me).
Blessings On YOU! AL (Here goes- hope this works )

6 signs!
Six signs of Iraq's progress
June 04. 2006
Amir Taheri, a former editor of Iran's largest newspaper and now a writer for the New York Post, supports the view that Iraq has made extraordinary progress.
1) Refugees are returning to Iraq. During Saddam Hussein's reign, people fled the country. Since he has been toppled, more than 1.2 million Iraqis have returned.
2) From 1991 to 2003, there were no pilgrimages to the religious shrines in Karbala and Najaf. In 2005, these sites received an estimated 12 million pilgrims.
3) The Iraqi dinar was in free fall during Saddam's final years. Today, its value is rising against the Kuwaiti dinar and the Iranian rial.
4) Near the end of Saddam's reign, businesses shut down. Since liberation, the private sector is booming. According to the IMF and the World Bank, the Iraqi economy is outperforming all others in the region, and small and medium businesses are opening in bunches.
5) For the first time in 50 years, Iraq is exporting foodstuffs to its neighbors. Even the oil industry, a constant target of terrorists, is progressing. Iraq is now a member of OPEC and has returned to the world markets as a major exporter.
6) People are speaking out now that Saddam is gone. Iraq has talk radio, talk television and Internet blogs. People are debating in shops, tea houses, mosques, offices and in their homes.
Iraq has made great social and economic progress.....

Oil sands is the future for NA markets now that new extraction processing is being developed, never mind the price of oil quickly rising due to Iran threats and Nigerian rebel attacks on oil facilities. And here I thought all professors were lost in space. LOL
Good luck to all, Mike
