Good to hear from someone with intelligence that sees this for what it is. An investment with huge potential.

Noone knows when this baby will come to daddy, but all the signs are good. ;0)
Zubaidi:Monetary value of the Iraqi dinar must revert to the previous level, or at least to acceptable levels as it is in the Iraqi neighboring states.

Shabibi:The bank wants as a means to affect the economic and monetary policy by making the dinar a valuable and powerful.

Be careful about buying off ebay gang. If you do buy from ebay, remeber to have the right stuff to check the Dinars bills. I sure would'nt want to hand my State Bank fake dinars lol

Ebay is something to think about. But I still trust Freedinars!

    Peace Out

    Exactly,

This is good advice as I have many many people who have bought on eBay only to receive nothing, never mind counterfeit bills. Remember, it is just as difficult to counterfeit Iraqi dinars as it is US or Euro currency as it now has the latest security and is impossible to counterfeit. Anyone who has been on eBay knows there are more scams going on than legitimate transactions. I can't believe how many stories I am hearing on rip-offs, so BEWARE, purchase only fro registered currency dealers for your protection. Besides, there are no bargains on eBay as prices have surpased our cost through OMPUS, so why bother going elsewhere, we have all verified our currency as being authentic.

    Good luck to all, Mike

For those sitting on the fence, look at it this way. Investing in the Iraqi dinar is no different than when others invested in war torn currencies. Do a little history search and millions were made over and over again. Some made millions fast, some it took several years, but in the end, everyone made money investing in currencies.

The way I look at it is simple. Having hit a home run with the Kuwait dinar a decade ago, I see this as if we were the proud owner of the winning million dollar lottery ticket, except for one thing, you don't know the drawing date yet. LOL So get your tickets now.

    Good luck to all, Mike

Mike, will you please explain exactly how you have verified these dinars as being authentic?

I've already bought $100 worth...am thinking of buying some more...but starting to have a few creepy doubts nagging at me.

    Hi Caroline,

When you order through a registered dealer, you never have to worry as they will include all the security features, and with the new currency, it is on par with new US currency which has the mag strip, watermarks, special inks, and ultraviolet light test, so you don't have to worry. The old Iraqi currency was often counterfeit, and these articles talking about this are based on old Saddam currency, not the new 2003 bills. If you visit the OPMUS site being discussed here you will find how to check currency and what to look for. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

    Good luck to all, Mike
