Does anybody know or have a link for the current amount of iraq dinar in circulation? AND...when was the last auction listing then showed them SELLING any dinar...I really think I am onto something here

What happened to the freedinar call tonite I was anxious to here what they were up to maybe they only had call for members or they got shamed pretty good this week for getting all there info from you know where. Are they still not selling . I think I had a dealer on eBay change his mind & keep my $71.00 & his 100k dinar he has about 30min to contact m or I will be blasting his name & address everywhere do you blame me I've bought or1.5mill on Ebay without a problem & good prices to .

I have a real warm and fuzzy feeling. As I stated my friend with "boots on the ground" is checking into a number of things many posters are asking right now. He will give me nothing but hard facts. Absolutly no BS at all. Just facts. He has not responded yet as to the large troop movement going on, but I will post related Info when he doe's. It may not be great info, but will be factual Info.

This I do Have...

Fact- Some Iraqi shops are giving US change when purchases are made from there consession stands which are located on base. This is relatively new, normally would be Dinars.

Fact- Lots of Nationals questioning the 10K disbursment, which has yet to happen.

Fact- Its not as easy to exchange US for Dinars from on base shop keepers as it was before. This may not be the case on all bases, but is with the ones I am in contact with.

Fact- Dinars are being conficated at BIAP on a more regular basis by Iraqi customs. They are checking alot better than ever before and contractors are being warned of this.

There are other issues, but I cannot confirm as fact at this moment. Somthing big is going down here and we all are going to be a part of this history making event.

Just don't forget our commitments to help the less fortunate with our soon to be new found wealth.

As you know, we did cancel the conference call tonight. However it was not due to lack of rumors, as many are going around.



I have been personally asked by several members and friends as to my opinion as to what will happen with the Dinar now that the elections are over, and could this hurt the Dinar. Although this is just speculation on my part, I have to say no. I think that it’s just possible that it could speed up the process in Iraq if they think that a democratically controlled government in the U.S. could pull out and leave them to fend for themselves. I don’t think that this will happen, but I think it sent a wake-up call to the Iraqi Parliament to “get the move on” so to speak.



We will continue with our suspension for the time being. Next week is a big week in regards to all the rumors, and although we usually don’t feed into them too much they are hard not to notice and get excited about.



If you were on the call last week you know that trade negations with European Union and Iraq begin on November 20th. Keep in mind that with the value of the Dinar at an all time low, it would be ill advised for Iraq to enter into any trade deals until they get their purchasing power back. Here is a LINK to the meeting. If you happen to be in Brussels on the 20th, the meeting starts at 8am.



We finally know what happened during the meeting with the IAMB on October 31st in regards to Iraq regaining control of their oil revenues. Here is a briefing of the meeting LINK. After reading the last two paragraphs we believe that Iraq has taken control with the IAMB watching closely until the mandate is up.



Many of you also have been asking about what tax consequences if any we will be looking at when it comes time to sell. This is not our area of expertise, and we know that if you call the IRS five times you will get five different answers. Our accountant and tax advisor has told us that we will be facing either “income tax” or “capitol gains tax” depending on how long we hold on to our Dinar. However, when told about the conflicting answers from the IRS, he advised us that if we are told something different by an agent with the IRS that is more favorable, to make sure we record the call and get their name and ID number. This can be used later if we follow their advice and later we find out it was wrong.



We have also been asked as to if Iraq has begun distributing the 10K checks to their citizens. We have sent out several emails to some of our contacts in Iraq and are awaiting their response. We don’t believe they have, but will let you know what we hear.



The last bit of news I would like to pass on is the fact that Chase Bank here in Phoenix is no longer selling Dinar. We have called several branches, including the one closest that we know was selling and they are no longer. When asked for a reason we were given none. Take it for what it is, but we still think we are on the verge.
