Thread: Iraq/Dinar News. 09/05 to 01/14/07

If they are handing out the 10K gift as previously posted then they need to RV it also......if not there will be some ticked off Iraqi's that cash in early.

O.K. as most of you know, I purchased some of my dinar from my local Chase bank. Now, I thought I was done buying, but with all these rumors flying about Chase no longer selling, I will have to do my own investigation and see if I can purchase some more. I will be heading out shortly, and will post here when I get back. In all honesty, I hope they reject my order.

A couple of pages ago there was a link saying the oil law will be enacted before the end of the year. Now that does make the old juices flow! Makes me think a reval this year for sure and hopefully this month if not as soon as next week, but let's not get carried away yet.

I decided that I would try another branch and keep my voice down not to let anyone else hear...hopefully I'll get a teller that has not heard yet!

Veterans Day, a Banking Holiday?

Most banks are open on Saturday now, tomorrow is actually Veteran's Day and Chase will be closed tomorrow. But they are open today.

I'm all for the 'Woot Shuffle' in the Caymans like the rest of you but let's have that reval before we conger down the streets naked shouting 'Woot, Woot' in our own countries!!
